Project Manager, Product

Job Description

As a Project Manager for Product you will help oversee the on-boarding, implementation, and general project management for our marketing services, starting with SEO and expanding to include other marketing services, such as Paid Media, Local Listings, and Content. You provide clear, consistent communication between internal departments. You will design and execute efficient project management processes. You will continuously identify areas of improvement and implement best practices that enhance the overall efficiency of the product delivery. You are accountable for timely and proactive communication with project deliverables. Your success will be measured by metrics such as on time delivery of SOW items, enhancing the efficiency of the team, and your ability to forge product relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

Job Expectations

• Support the SEO and other product teams with managing the execution of product deliverables from the SOW.

• Communicate and coordinate all agency resources to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction with an emphasis on project transparency and milestone management.

• Assist COO with formulating metrics to measure company and client success.

• Assist with the development of SEO department resources to effectively manage all SOWs more efficiently. This includes but is not limited to training others on new processes, creating documentation, executing your PM vision, etc.

• Ensure internal programs are properly positioned with our team members.

• Delegate or fulfill required tasks to appropriate product teams

• Develop and grow skills through mentorship and training received product leadership, COO, and other executive team members.

• Research and stay up-to-date on digital marketing services provided by Go Local and applicable industry trends

• Other Project Management tasks as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• A proven track record of the ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a flexible and fast paced environment to effectively meet deadlines

• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills

• Strong presentation skills

• Ability to effectively communicate both technical and non-technical information between internal product teams and external clients

• Strategic and creative thinking when solving problems

• A basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Marketing, Paid Search, Lead Generation, Web Development and Operations

• Proficient skills in Google Suite products and Microsoft Office

Required Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or another related field

• 3+ years of client service, or similar, experience focused on product implementation

• Digital Marketing, Advertising, or media industry experience preferred
