Our financial client in Downtown Chicago is looking for Project Manager
Long term contract position.
Local candidates only
Has expertise in managing all phases of systems development from concept through implementation and maintenance for application projects.
Responsible for structuring a project, performing the detailed planning, managing project execution and completion of moderate or large projects using prescribed methodology.
Defines the phase deliverables, tracks milestones and incurred expenses versus planned expenses, forecasts and schedules roles/resources, evaluates risks and recommends contingency plans.

Candidate must have strong project management skills and understand various project methodologies (Waterfall/Agile), processes and standards. Candidate will be responsible for project documentation, project schedule, meeting agendas and minutes, status reporting, resource forecasting, etc. Candidate must also be familiar with MS Office, MS Project and SharePoint.

7+ years PM experience with proven record of managing large, complex projects touching multiple applications and groups (above $5M in terms of budget).
3-5 years of experience in financial services industry, banking experience preferable.

Resume must clearly communicate what the PM did on a project and how.

Budgeting and forecasting experience a must.

MDM and Agile experience a plus.
