Armedia, LLC is a Veteran-Owned, CMMI Level 3 Dev appraised small business serving government and commercial clients. Armedia is looking for a Project Manager, to be located in Tallahassee FL, to assist with activities supporting the Agency for Healthcare Administration. This PMI certified Project Manager Professional (PMP) will have the following:DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESManaging day-to-day contract activities of team membersManaging staffing levels, hiring, training, work assignments, performance and issue resolution to meet contract requirements.Collaborating with the Agency to support communications and activities necessary to meet the objectives of the project.Overseeing quality and timeliness of all contract deliverables, documentation, and reports produced by Armedia as specified in the contract.Minimum experience of five (5) years managing custom software projects.Demonstrated experience performing release lifecycle management over a multi-year, multi-phase project.Demonstrated experience with project management initiation and planning activities and producing documentation, including but limited to:Project Charter;Project Management Plan and Supporting Management Plans (e.g. Communications Plan);Project Schedule and Resource Planning;Scope Planning;Corrective Action Plans;Training Plans and Testing Plans.Demonstrated experience with project management monitoring and control activities and producing documentation, including but not limited to:Schedule Management;Variance Analysis;Schedule Control;Cost Control;Resource Management;Risk Monitoring and Control;Change Control andStatus Reporting.Demonstrated experience with project management closing activities and producing documentation, including but not limited to:Lessons Learned;Post-Implementation Documentation;Training of Staff, Assessment of Cost and Benefits;Identifying Maintenance Needs and Establishment of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for application users.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESBA/BS or higher in Business, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical disciplines.Experience Requirements. Five (5) years of experience performing project management support services in a supervisory and/or leadership role.Ability to plan, manage, and control the overall activities of the service offering (such as project management, staffing, requirements definition, technical work, quality of products, and product cost).Strong written and oral communication skills for effective product delivery within a matrixed organization servicing executive level clientsMust be a Project Management Institute (PMI) certified Project Management Professional (PMP)Project Management: 5 years (Required)Preferred:Experience in Healthcare IT related projects, specifically Medicaid Management Information System, modules, and scalable enterprise solutions.Experience in Legal Case Management IT related Projects.Experience in managing a state government
