The Project Manager- IT PMO provides project management and facilitates the implementation of hardware and software projects. This position will focus primarily on projects of a more technical nature and will be responsible for gathering and analyzing vendor supplied and custom requirements, understanding various interrelationships between related systems, organizing and fostering project teams, and developing and executing project plans for assigned projects. This position must be an excellent communicator with ability to effectively communicate and present technical information to all levels of the organization. This position will be responsible for mapping functional and data flows and identifying system dependencies and will have a good understanding of hardware, networking, storage, and information systems. Additionally, this position may assist with troubleshooting technical problems and identify mitigation strategies for technical issues and risks.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is required
Master's Degree in Information Systems, or Computer Science or related field is a plus
Five (5) years of information technology experience required
Three (3) years demonstrated technical project management, supervisory management, or project engineer experience in a dynamic and progressive technological environment required
Previous experience with various project management methodologies and project management tools are required
Must have experience leading large-scale implementations with particular focus in the infrastructure and/or application areas
Experience supporting systems in a health care setting preferred
Experience supporting new construction infrastructure is preferred.
