Manages designated customer projects to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget while adhering to applicable regulations and protocol requirements. Lead and play an integral part in individual project success and provide PCI a competitive advantage in long-term customer management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for overall project management for assigned projects using appropriate project planning tools. Communicates milestones, critical path activities and assign internal and external responsibility to ensure the project achieves all deliverables per the customer requirements and agreed upon timeline.

  • Primary customer contact for activities, including timeline, budget and customer expectation management.

  • Provide support to business development as necessary providing review of quotes for accuracy.

  • Assist with customer supply agreements/contracts during project development.

  • Understand purchasing authorization from the supply agreement.

  • Work with the customer to ensure correct components and artwork changes; verify pricing to quote and re-price if necessary; communicate price variances with management.

  • Responsible for leading Project Team and Technical Kick Off Meetings for assigned projects.

  • Forecast and manage project expenses in adherence with the project budget. Generate customer invoice/billing including supporting documentation.

  • Review and approve internal customer-based specifications for packaging components and processes.

  • Provide suggestions for packaging solutions in the areas of design and specification management.

  • Coach, mentor, and supervise Associate Project Managers.

  • Effectively facilitate a lessons learned at the conclusion of projects to ensure we capture best practices, receive constructive feedback, and develop solutions and action plans to make the next project a success.

  • Understand and analyze contribution margin for each project.

  • Commit and meet budgetary objectives and communicate adjustments to Business Unit Manager.

  • Establish effective meetings and communication plan to ensure success of each project.

  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.

  • Manage customer visits to PCI.

  • Training and onboarding of new employees within same role, as requested.

  • This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.

  • Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.

  • Attendance to work is an essential function of this position

  • Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 5-7 years related experience and/or training.

  • College Level Mathematical Skills

  • Advanced Computer Skills:
    Ability to perform the most complex computer tasks and operate various computer programs.

  • Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.

  • Highest Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems and deal with nonverbal symbolism in its most difficult phases while dealing with concrete/abstract variables.

The person in this role will provide oversight throughout the life of the project by ensuring time schedules are met and that the final outcome/result meets the client's needs. In this position you will: * Oversee the coordination, management, status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts of various size and complexity to support the business. * Utilize accepted project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, meeting client expectations and adhering to high quality standards. * Able to build and drive data driven work plan estimates leveraging the Transformation Management Office (TMO) structure for the right skillsets. * Deliver and realize measurable value for the project, developing value realization measurement plans with appropriate leadership checkpoints. * Strong ability to communicate effectively and appropriately on a business and/or technical level as required. * Ability to manage project teams across multiple locations including potential international locations or teams. * Ability to navigate the politics and challenges of business transformation programs. * Partners with IT to ensure ongoing operational support for business applications. * Maintain a working knowledge of the latest IT trends and technologies in the industry. * Drives the development and maintains consistent business processes and procedures as well as recommends improvements and enhancements to current solutions in place. * Supports annual planning and other strategic planning efforts as required. * Manages the relationship with all internal/external project stakeholders. * Performs risk/issue management and appropriate management of critical dependencies, escalating items as appropriate to leadership for timely resolution.
