We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Industrial & Flow Technologies team. You will manage quality/warranty reduction projects, value engineering projects, development and deployment of OPMO systems and processes, as well as projects delivered across multiple functions, including global manufacturing and supply chain. This Project Manager will communicate and collaborate with all other company functions - product management, engineering, marketing, operations, finance, supply chain, sales, quality and customers.

You will:

  • Develop project plans: identifying schedules, specifications, risks, and contingency plans for all projects.

  • Lead all projects and project teams from concept to post release with strong sense of urgency, utilizing project management tools and techniques.

  • Deploy problem-solving methodologies with demonstrated experience utilizing common tools such as: Cause-and-effect diagram, "fishbone" or Ishikawa diagrams, 8D, 5-Why, and/or other tools.

  • Provide weekly updates to Portfolio Management software and insure accuracy of all project specific details, including deliverables, due dates, team changes, and risks

  • Become a subject matter expert in project management with the ability to train and coach others.

  • Work collaboratively with other Pentair global design centers, manufacturing plants and strategic suppliers as needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Have earned at least a Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Engineering, Business, or other technical field.

  • 7+ years in a traditional Project Management Role (IT, Finance, Manufacturing, Acquisition, LEAN, Change Management, General Business )

  • Experience in supporting multiple projects and balancing priorities through planning, execution, and leadership as well the ability to assess, plan, manage, and deliver projects of various size and scale.

  • Have strong problem solving and process troubleshooting capability (RCCM, 8D, DMAIC, etc.)

  • Project Management education; Professional (PMP) certification is desirable. Candidates without a PMP certification are expected to study and successfully pass the exam within one year of hire.

  • Ability to travel at 40%-60% levels, varying dependent on projects and workload.

About the role: As Project Manager, you will have responsibility for delivering large strategic, client-driven software development projects within the LSEG Wealth Management segment. The role will interact with all levels of the organization to help define, scope, and manage the health of projects. There may be opportunities to work in both Agile and Waterfall environments and may include the role of a Scrum Master. Primary Responsibilities: * Manage one or more projects that relate to critical business goals for the global business partners * Develop and track to detailed project plans for waterfall teams; Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters for agile teams * Develop and track resource plans, communication plans, risk mitigation plans and issue resolution plans * Monitor and resolve issues across multiple Refinitiv and client work streams involved in the project * Proactively identify and provide mitigation plans for any potential risks to the project's overall success * Develop a professional rapport with the internal and client project teams and maintain an excellent level of client satisfaction * Report status of the project using various MS office tools to present the appropriate level of detail based on the target audience * May act as main point of contact with the client regarding results, change requests, and sign-off on status and requirements * Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, including professional organizations Education & Certifications: * BS/BA degree, or equivalent experience * Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred and/or similar work experience * PMP certification a plus Required Skills & Necessary Industry Experience: * Minimum of 5 years of Project Management/Planning experience * Proven experience in Software Development Life Cycle(s) with either Agile or Waterfall methodologies * Must have excellent analytical problem-solving skills * Demonstrates strong leadership skills * Great teammate with an ambitious, collaborative spirit * Solid understanding of Microsoft Project * Above average organization, interpersonal, & communication skills * Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment * Experience building successful client relationships or internal team relationships People are at the heart of what we do and drive the success of our business.
