Primary Purpose

Supports Environmental Assistance Program (EAP) on the client's site.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.

  • Provides waste management services to clients, including coordinating shipments, completing required paperwork for pick-ups, lab packing, conducting various facility inspections as required; performs sampling, evaluates and provides waste minimization opportunities; sets up brokering arrangements.

  • Maintain a log of waste stored in the waste area and advise when supplies are to be ordered.

  • Schedules and attends client meetings to keep client apprised of operations; prepares reports for client detailing activities.

  • Performs business development activities; participates in presentations to prospective clients and internal management; may develop proposals.

  • May be responsible for project billing and cost tracking operations.

  • Complete Annual manifest reports and RCRA biennial Reports.

  • Proficient in the MMS, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Responds to customer inquiries about Company and Company Services.

Education: High School Diploma or its equivalent. 40 hour Hazwoper preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience in the hazardous waste management industry is required.

Required: Must have a valid driver's license. Ability to pass Motor Vehicle Record search to company standards.

Knowledge and Abilities: This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function. Thorough knowledge and understanding of all federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to the Environmental Services industry. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.

The primary purpose of the Sr. Project Manager is to manage large scale complex projects and lead Edupoints team of Project Managers. When managing implementation projects, the Senior Project Manager will support and guide clients through the implementation of all Edupoint products, deliver successfully implemented school districts and ensure that Edupoint meets all contract commitments. When managing Project Managers, the Senior Project Manager will provide the leadership and follow up needed for Edupoints Project Managers to successfully complete their assigned portfolio of client projects. Job Summary: The Project Manager will effectively manage complex customer implementations from the post-sale phase through go live and coordinate the delivery of services for clients after they are live on Synergy. Ensure that Edupoints implementation methodology is adhered to in all implementations. Supervise, coach and mentor Project Managers. Serve as an escalation point to address and resolve implementation issues. Job Duties: * Serve as an expert in all aspects of Edupoints System Implementation Methodology. * For all assigned new client projects, create an appropriate project plan. Maintain and ensure adherence to the project plans and manage each implementation task to ensure completion. * Develop a system installation and configuration plan, and work closely with the Technical Services group to ensure the scheduling and completion of the installation plan. * Develop an application and security setup plan for new customers, and work closely with the Product Specialist Supervisor to ensure the resourcing, scheduling and completion of the application and security setup plan. * Develop a training plan for new customers and ensure the resourcing, scheduling and completion of the training plan. * Develop a conversion plan for new customers, and work closely with the Director of Data Services to ensure the resourcing, scheduling and completion of the conversion plan. * Develop a plan for the delivery of 3rd party interfaces and ensure the resourcing, scheduling and completion of that plan. * Track all software customizations required by new customers, facilitate communications with the development staff and ensure delivery of all customizations. * Work closely with the Instructional Applications Project Manager to develop a Grade Book implementation plan for new customers and ensure the resourcing, scheduling and completion of the plan. * Work closely with the Instructional Applications Project Manager, Synergy SE Manager, and OLR Product Manager to develop plans and schedule the required tasks for the implementation of the optional modules purchased. Ensure the completion of each plan. * Work closely with the SRC team to develop a plan that includes application setup and data conversion considerations for state reporting and training on submissions. For first in state clients, the development of state reporting functionality must be included in the plan. * Schedule service requests for clients post go live by gathering service needs, identifying appropriate staff resources and delivery schedules, procuring a quote for the services and confirming the scheduled events with the provider and client. * Create and maintain Outlook Calendar invitations for all scheduled events. Update the Resource Tracking Report to reflect resource assignments. * Set and manage customer expectations appropriately and ensure customer satisfaction. * Identify and proactively address issues and potential risks to assigned projects. Escalate stalled issues. * Prioritize and resolve situations that arise with excellent customer service. * Serve as the customers point-of-contact within Edupoint and respond to all other needs of the customer as they arise. * Serve as the customers advocate to our organization. Represent the customers interests in internal meetings regarding product direction, company priorities, services offered, etc. * Report project status to Executive staff on a regular basis. * Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. * Lead Project Managers to ensure they successfully complete their assigned portfolio of client projects and to ensure that Edupoint meets all contract commitments and delivers successfully implemented school districts. * Monitor performance of assigned staff and provide timely and effective recognition, feedback, performance reviews and counseling to team members. * Create and sustain a team environment that motivates high performance and commitment with an atmosphere of trust, respect, recognition, ownership and accountability. * Approve PTO requests for staff members while ensuring deadlines are not impacted by time off. * Act as an escalation point to address and resolve issues facing the Implementation customers and project teams. * Enforce Edupoints Project Management policies, procedures and standards. * Work collaboratively with team members to improve best practices within each discipline and project management as a whole. * Monitor resource allocation; provide workload forecasts and staffing projections to ensure the Implementation projects are adequately staffed to meet the needs of the current and future customers. * Update the Vice President on a weekly basis. Include overall team and project status as well as major milestone events, customer satisfaction and critical issues. * Prepare high level reports for the executive team and provide updates to Cabinet when invited to do so. * Be responsive to internal (staff) and external (customer) requests. * Other job duties as assigned. Job Requirements-Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required: * Knowledge: K-12 education knowledge preferred, knowledge of student information systems a plus. * Journeyman level skills in the discipline of project management within the domain of information technology projects. * Ability: Excellent verbal/written communication required. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks. Attention to detail required. Ability to travel. 5% - 10% of working hours may be spent traveling. Education and/or Experience: * B. A. or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * PMP Certification preferred. Typical Physical Demands and Work Environment: Work may require sitting for long periods of time; also stopping, bending and stretching for files and supplies, occasionally lifting files, objects or paper weighing up to 30 pounds. The position requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, telephone, copier and other office equipment as necessary. Hearing must be in the normal range for telephone and video conferencing contacts. Visual acuity must be sufficient to allow working extended hours on computer screens. Ability to work in an environment with moderate noise and which can be fast paced and project intensive. Travel and some extended overnight trips in the performance of duties will be required.
