Description
The Compliance Project Manager is primarily responsible for serving as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Compliance and Investigation Officer performing all compliance administrative duties and activities within LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport campuses ("LSUHSC-S) and will uphold the mission of the compliance department. In addition, the individual will assist in the development and implementation of compliance orientated educational tools and correction plans throughout the organization.
Responsibilities will include monitoring for federally mandated exclusion lists on each newly hired employees as well as scheduling of required education for said employees. Maintain documentation of education for all medical center employees. Serve as facilitator of resource center, assisting employees with retrieval of pertinent federal and state regulations and statues. Incumbent will maintain a customer-oriented awareness in acknowledging and responding to needs, as they occur to assure that customer satisfaction is met at all terms.
This position reports to the Chief Compliance and Investigation Officer. Regular attendance is required to perform its functions. It is NOT a remote position.
Regular attendance is required to perform the functions of this position. The work hours are generally Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Accounting, Auditing, Business Administration, HealthCare Administration, Compliance, or a related field, plus (2) years of in-depth administrative experience in Audit, Compliance, or Administration.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Certified Internal Auditor and/or a Certified Public Accountant. The following Certifications are preferred: Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) from the Health Care Compliance Association; Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners; Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors; Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) from the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics.
