Essential Functions*:
Develop a comprehensive project plan that outlines the scope, objectives, timelines, and resources required.
Allocate resources effectively and ensure that team members understand their roles and responsibilities, while monitoring and managing project budgets.
Identify/Monitor potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address issues as they arise during the project lifecycle.
Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, ensuring that all relevant parties are informed of project progress and conduct regular project status meetings to provide updates.
Implement and manage quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards.
Track project timelines and adjust as necessary to keep the project on schedule while anticipating and resolving delays or bottlenecks.
Define and manage project scope, ensuring that any changes are documented and approved.
Lead and motivate project teams to foster a collaborative and positive working environment.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders and ensure that project outcomes align with stakeholder expectations.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
Position Requirements*:
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 3 years' experience in project management related role.
Program Management or Project Management Professional certification preferred.
Significant computer applications skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and SharePoint.
Continuous Improvement/Lean Project Leadership experience preferred.
Exceptional analytical, organizational, problem solving, leadership and project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), presentation and facilitation skills
Ability to travel as needed.
This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls if required.
This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies.
