This Project Manager position supports the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3) and is a functional member of a team consisting of a Program Manager and several other matrixed support staff that conduct software development, software engineering, cloud computing, and IT portfolio management. In this role, the selected candidate will assist in developing technical and operational-level plans and other portfolio management activities, conduct requirements gathering and definitions, or business processes and tools development, support the baseline change control process, and manage risks, issues, and opportunities. Additional duties include:
Developing and maintaining reporting and key project artifacts to capture project milestones and objectives, and,
The selected candidate will also support the management of operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as a liaison between other directorate project management and planning staff, project teams, and line management. Requires expert-level competency in schedule management; must have a track record of assessing project issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years experience, may have supervisory or lead experience
Must have demonstrated experience managing technical software development and hardware requirements, resource management, and relevant experience as a critical staff action officer overseeing and coordinating large-scale IT software acquisitions.
Must have experience supporting the development of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and Budget Estimate Submissions (BES) and the ability to correlate key organizational objectives to strategy requirements.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or recent DAWIA Level II Certification.
Desired Qualifications:
PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
