Project Manager National Network Engineering Organization (NNEO) - ENG001245
Leads small to intermediate sized technical project teams and may occasionally act as sub-team lead for large projects. Ensures timely and accurate completion of assigned duties and responsibilities of the team members to meet the project and executive leaderships' expectations. Leads and/or participates in managing project integration, scope, time, costs and quality and communicates the status, risk and issues associated with each to the correct level(s) within the project structure and the organization to ensure that the project outcomes are achieved as defined, within budget and on time.
Leads technical cross functional and consultant team members assigned through transition of a project to network support operations ensuring timely completion of project deliverables.
Works with cross-functional Engineering and Network Operations teams to create deployment schedules that will minimize risks to the business and its customers.
Provides technical leadership, coaching, and guidance on a continuous basis to project team members in the areas of project lifecycle, operating procedures, processes and issues management.
Plans and facilitates cross-functional knowledge transfers between Engineering and Operations, provides post project reviews to apply lessons learned and the implementation of best practices and repeatable processes to ensure quality integration and minimize customer impact.
Monitors workload of team members and provides feedback on individual and team performance.
Creates risk management plan to identify, analyze, monitor and respond to risks associated with the project to ensure ability to achieve expected outcomes, on time and on budget.
Identify and escalate to the appropriate levels any issues that will prohibit the project from being completed within scope or are not in alignment with company strategies, policies and procedures.
Coordinate and communicate all network change activities related to the projects in accordance with the change management processes and procedures within NNEO and IS.
Execute project change control to obtain approvals for changes to the project scope, timelines, resource requirements and/or budget.
Conduct reviews, ensure revisions are documented and obtain approvals for internal and vendor provided technical Method of Procedures, testing, acceptance criteria and service level agreements for changes to the production network. Ensure all success criterias are met in accordance with company standards, policies and procedures.

Undergraduate degree in Telecommunications related field or comparable experience required.
Five or more years of project management experience required.
Three or more years of functional experience in wireless/data networking required.
Strong technical writing skills and the ability to define, design and implement technical operational support processes are required.
Analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills are required.
Intermediate experience with MS Office, Visio, MS Project Server, Documentum and Remedy applications is required.
