Job Description Job Description Description: POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position’s primary responsibility is to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of national customer accounts flooring projects. This includes managing resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure the projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the customers. This position will coordinate with other departments to ensure the execution of the work goes smoothly while providing daily updates to all projects being managed including daily photo updates from the installer, signed field authorizations, change order documentation and back-up, competitions forms, and warranty letter to the customer.

This position may also assist with travel related to ensuring our company’s quality standards are being met through all aspects of projects. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Planning and scheduling projects:

This involves developing project plans and timelines. Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications pertaining to floor covering installation. Understanding of best practices for floor covering installations and how to communicate scope of work to the installer assigned to each project.

Managing project budgets: This includes developing project budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying areas where cost savings can be achieved. Coordinating with clients and other stakeholders:

This involves communicating with clients to understand their needs and expectations, and working with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to the satisfaction of all parties. Managing project teams: This includes coordinating the work of subcontractors and other team members, ensuring that they have the resources they need to complete their work, and resolving conflicts as needed.

Monitoring project progress: This involves tracking project milestones and identifying potential issues or delays that could impact the project timeline or budget. Ensuring quality control:

This includes monitoring workmanship and ensuring that all work meets industry standards and project specifications. Managing project documentation: This involved maintaining project records such as contracts and invoices and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up to date.

Coordinate with procurement to ensure material deliveries meet the job schedule. Coordinate with estimating team to provide information as needed to address change orders and customer request during project execution. Prepare reports for management regarding status of projects.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in construction work, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in the flooring industry or in construction work. Strong organizational and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget.

Clear and effective communication with clients, contractors, and team members. Ability to lead and motivate a team of flooring installers, ensuring that each member is working efficiently and safely. Proficient in MS Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel Highly detail oriented. Able to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy.
