DRS Training & Control Systems (TCS), Fort Walton Beach, FL, provides engineering, manufacturing, and support of defense and aerospace systems for sea, land, air, and space use. Our product and service areas include electronic control and monitoring systems, aerospace material handling systems, simulation and training systems, aerospace support equipment, contract manufacturing, engineering, and product support. In addition, DRS TCS has contract logistics support operations domestically as well as in Europe and the Middle East.

Title: Project Manager
Responsible for the daily execution of specific tasks or projects within a moderately large/complex program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the daily execution of specific tasks or projects within a moderately large/complex program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines
Manages operations to ensure schedules are met and deliverables meet quality standards
Organizes project and task workloads and selects individuals most qualified for specific projects
Contributes to the client relationship
Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Bachelor's Degree with technical training experience and 5+ years functional or program management experience (or equivalent related education and experience)
Ability to interact well in a demanding group environment; team player
Experience with production and development projects
Understanding and ability to create detailed Microsoft Project plans
Manufacturing experience preferred
Earned Value Management Understanding
Project/program lifecycle understanding; cradle to grave
Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
Ability to travel overseas if required
