Project Manager, Mountain Bikes
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Mountain Bike team and contribute to the creation of the world's finest bikes. If you have a proven track record of leading cross-functional technical teams towards shared objectives, collaborating with multinational organizations, and effectively managing work across time zones and cultures, while simultaneously focusing on details and the big picture, we would love to hear from you!
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting global cross-functional teams to plan and deliver bikes on schedule and with exceptional quality. You will help coordinate internal and external resources, establish clear decision-making channels, ensure adherence to processes, and drive excellence in product planning.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Collaborate with multiple global product development teams through the entire bike product development process, ensuring timely market launches.
Maintain accountability and enforce process adherence to establish consistent work practices across teams and projects.
Learn to guide teams through successful kickoffs to define product requirements and rider needs, resulting in well-defined and concise Concept Phase plans.
Co-develop interdependent program timelines with input from all team members, and secure buy-in and agreement on the final plan.
Help to identify critical path items to maintain progress towards goals while effectively managing tradeoffs during execution.
Formulate action plans to mitigate identified risks and remove obstacles.
Foster clear and consistent communication with all areas of the business regarding project status and overall health.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing processes and tools for advanced product development.
WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN
Minimum 2-5 years of project management or product development experience in fast-paced, innovative, and technically advanced industries.
Exposure to various technical product fields and manufacturing methods.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of PLM systems, task management tools (e.g., Jira), and Project Management software (MS Project or equivalent).
A learner mentality.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Leadership, or Business Management.
PMP Certification.
Curiosity or interest in cycling.

Full-time in office position requiring 40 hours per week, based in Auburn, CA.
Domestic and international travel will be required.
Pay
Below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in the following locations:
California Base Pay Range: $66,506 - $109,735
