Project Manager

M. A. Mortenson Company seeks a full-time Project Manager based in Denver, CO. The Project Manager provides overall leadership direction to construction projects, including the management of financial health, project quality, timeliness, and safety, as well as mentoring the project team.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field and five years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience in the construction industry working on commercial construction projects.

Must also have 24 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) handling vendor purchase orders, subcontractor change orders, requests for information (RFIs), and submittals though Procore; (2) managing and executing contract buyouts, change orders, and monthly owner billings, including obtaining the customer/architect's approval; (3) developing and maintaining project financial projections and equipment projections; (4) handling billings and contract management, including contract buyout; and (5) reading and interpreting project contracts to influence and maintain overall project operations. All experience may have been gained concurrently.

May work in various unanticipated locations in the Denver

• Lakewood, CO metropolitan statistical area. Domestic travel required up to 5% of the time.
  
  Salary: $135,325 to $171,000/year. This range is adjusted for Denver, CO by increasing the overall range by 5%"
