Additional Duties and Requirements Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required, or 4-6 years of equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree Master's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred At least seven (7) years of Project Management related work experience required At least three (3) years of contact center experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required Proven ability to deliver projects on-time and on-budget using industry accepted project management methodology Solid working knowledge of risk management, configuration management, disaster recovery and quality assurance Deep knowledge of and expertise in applying project management methodology, tools and techniques and software development methods and approaches and operational service delivery methods and practices Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment with multiple goals and deadlines Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently Ability to establish relationships at all levels of the program (executives to front-line staff) Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with the ability to think and execute strategically Ability to act in a manner to impact and influence program outcomes, initiate actions independently, and act with flexibility and resiliency Strong leadership, negotiation and conflict resolution skills Strong business acumen Demonstrated experience in motivating teams to work together in the most efficient manner as well as in mentoring, coaching and effectively transferring expertise to others Direct supervisory experience (second line supervisory experience preferred)
Manages, perhaps through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing.
In some instances this manager may be responsible for a functional area and not have any subordinate employees.
Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Acts as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve problems.
Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities.
Frequently interacts with subordinate employees, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company.
Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team.
Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies.
Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s).
