Job Description:

Responsible for managing the seamless integration of electronic data interchange (EDI) and application programming interface (API) systems between our company, clients, and carriers. Ensuring that data flows efficiently and accurately between systems, enabling smooth business operations and enhancing customer and partner experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead end-to-end project management efforts for EDI and API systems integration projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring that all milestones are met within scope, budget, and timeline.

• Client and Carrier Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients and carriers to understand their integration requirements, establish project objectives, and define deliverables to meet their needs.

• Requirements Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of client and carrier integration requirements, including data mapping, document formats (EDIFACT, X12, JSON, XML), protocols, and security protocols (AS2, SFTP, HTTPS).

• Solution Design: Work with internal technical teams to design scalable and efficient EDI and API integration solutions that meet client and carrier specifications and comply with industry standards and best practices.

• Implementation Oversight: Oversee the implementation of EDI and API integration solutions, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and integration testing.

• Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges encountered during the integration process, working collaboratively with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.

• Documentation and Training: Develop comprehensive documentation, including integration specifications, process workflows, and user guides, to support clients and carriers in using the integrated systems effectively. Provide training and support as needed.

• Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance and reliability of EDI and API integrations post-deployment, implementing any necessary optimizations or enhancements to improve efficiency and reliability.

• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

• Proven experience in project management, with a focus on EDI and API systems integration projects.

• A strong understanding of EDI standards (EDIFACT, X12) and protocols (AS2, SFTP) is required.

• Experience with API integration technologies and standards (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) is preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

• Project management certification is a plus.
