The Role

Project Manager

The project manager role is client facing. The right person will be responsible for the appointment and management of the extended professional teams of local and international consultants and contractors.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Managing, controlling, monitoring and reporting of A&E consultants, general contractors and a broad variety of stakeholders within our client's organization.

  • Monitoring appropriate project operating procedures and systems, specifically ensuring management plan is being followed and adhered to.

  • Ensuring safe project working practices are adhered to for all site personnel.

  • Ensuring that the highest standards of health and safety are considered as a priority throughout all stages of the project's life cycle.

  • Attending site progress meetings and report on weekly project and commercial progress.

  • Ensuring invoices and timesheets are submitted on time.

The Requirements

Your Experience, Knowledge and Skills Need to Include:

  • At least 3+ years of experience in similar role is preferred.

  • Previous work experience with a project/program management consultancy.

  • Complete understanding of design, construction and cost programs.

  • Being an effective communicator, with excellent influencing and negotiating skills.

  • Competency in using Microsoft Office suite programs.

  • Ability to work in a pressurized environment.

  • Results and quality focused individual.

  • Detailed knowledge and appreciation of health and safety.

Qualifications

  • A degree qualification is preferred but is not essential.

  • Professional memberships are an advantage but are not essential.
