Lifestyle Communities' (LC) Construction team operates at the forefront of the company's commitment to create participation-driven communities. Consisting of land development, pre-construction and vertical construction, this team procures materials, sources trades and manages all aspects of a successful and high-functioning job site. You'll join a talented team responsible for both urban and suburban product types, and quality offerings that include commercial, social and residential spaces.

In support of the company's vision for growth, the Construction team at LC is seeking an experienced team member to join us in building and developing communities that serve as a catalyst for connection. In this role, you'll manage construction project activities for an assigned multi-family, amenity development project.

Make an impact through these primary responsibilities:

  • Monitors job costs variances through all phases of construction including but not limited to; labor material and equipment and completes cost and exposure forecasting related to all aspects of construction development and assists with monthly reporting.

  • Manages and develops subcontractor relationships with respect to contracting, scheduling, quality control.

  • Coordinates plan approvals and permitting to adhere to site planning and zoning and project schedules. Manage document control process including drawings, specifications, RFI's, submittals, addenda, ASI's, etc and communicate changes to field team and subcontractors as required.

  • Communicates with internal design groups along with third party architects/engineers to process design questions and project submittals. Manages communication with corporate and field staff on project status, production, product changes or schedule variances.

  • Works to develop subcontractor bid packages and scopes of work along with estimating support to contract all aspects of a construction project. Manage and negotiate subcontractor change orders.

Leverage the following experience in pursuit of our collective goals:

  • 3+ years of real estate development, residential or commercial construction office experience required.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project required. Previous experience with Viewpoint and Procore is desired but not required. Ability to learn internal accounting and construction project management software is essential.

  • Ability to lead and work in a team oriented environment. Close attention to detail, completing internal QA/QC measures to deliver the best product is necessary. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills needed. Aptitude to acquire general construction and legal knowledge with respect to required multi-family building codes, materials, product specifications, and costs.
