Mission Statement

Jacobs is seeking a qualified Information Technology (IT) professional to support the USSOCOM SITEC II Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) contract. Job Description

Project Managers must have demonstrated knowledge and experience with project management methodologies to work with intricate, multifaceted projects. They need superb communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a development team and make project presentations. This position also requires a background in managing projects related to application development. Candidates require a working knowledge of Federal Acquisition law, regulations, policies and procedures, including substantial involvement in a major acquisition effort.

Typical Duties

  • Managing a specific project or projects assigned by the Government to include project requirements, scope, budget, schedule and performance

  • Monitors, adjusts and reports on project performance, budget and schedule

  • Provides interim progress reviews to the Government on an as-needed basis

  • Assists with proposing, implementing and enforcing policies, standards and methodologies

  • Responsible for either developing or supervising the preparation of studies, reports and acquisition documents

  • Facilitates discussions and consensus among various project stakeholders, such as analysts, applications programmers and the Government

Required Clearance: TS/SCI

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, a Mathematics-intensive discipline, or a major field of study which either provides substantial knowledge useful in managing large, complex Automated Information System (AIS) projects or is closely related to the work as described and required by the task. Candidates may not substitute experience for education for this position.

Work Environment

  • Work will be performed inside a large facility. Work assignments vary based on client requirements. Position could require some night and weekend work.

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting at desk. Phone use and PC or laptop. Filing required. May require lifting and carrying boxes of supplies or files up to 25 lbs. Extended periods of sitting while on PC/laptop or phone.

Equipment and Machines

  • General office equipment, which includes: telephone, fax machine, copier, PC/laptop, and other miscellaneous office equipment.


  • Work assignments dependent on requirements by the client. It is important to be able to work at least 8 hours a day for 5 days per week (Monday through Friday).

  • On-Call or after-hours support may be required

  • You may be asked to continue performance during inclement weather or other conditions when others are not permitted to work

  • You may be asked to continue performance in support of a war, contingency or exercises


  • Continental and Oversees travel may be required. It is important to maintain a current passport.

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with a variety of government, military and contractor personnel at all levels. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Grooming and dress usually business casual, but dependent on client's standards. Must not pose a safety hazard to employees working in the same general area.

Our hiring team will not start the interview evaluation process until award. Project Manager (DPM) shall adequately supervise contractor personnel. The PM and DPM shall be responsible for coordinating all aspects of contract management. The PM and DPM shall reside within a one (1) hour recall time of Fort Bragg, NC. Office space will be provided at the Government facility for the PM and DPM. The PM and DPM shall be available to the COR and KO during normal business hours. The PM and DPM are considered Key Personnel under SOFARS Clause 5652.237-9001. The Contractor shall provide to the KO or designated Contracting Officer representative (COR), written notice of any personnel changes in key positions. #I2S Bachelor's degree with minimum of ten years managerial experience within DOD or equivalent Government agencies required, with at least five years managing projects of similar size and scope. Shall be knowledgeable in geospatial applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development. Shall possess strong working knowledge of geospatially oriented data, geospatial intelligence analysis and geospatial databases. Must possess Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification and the time of proposal submission. Master's degree with at least five years of experience with targeting and collection management.
