Riot Creative Imaging is seeking a Project Manager. If you have a background in large format digital printing, then this might be a job for you. As a project manager, you will be the point person responsible for client and vendor communications, meetings, equipment rentals and overseeing outsourced purchases and installations. In this position you will determine the most economical method from manufacturing to installation and final delivery. This position will allow you to work side by side with the production team. You will also work directly with sales and estimating in this role. Oversee and manage installations with outsourced vendors and clients
Ability to read and work with abstract designs, elevation plans or blueprints
Lead and schedule pre/post meetings for small and large rollouts with production team
Use internal or external sources and vendors to help establish best materials and processes for RFQ's
Evaluate methods available for producing the job with estimating and select the plan which produces the job in the most economical way and on time

Accurately measure and perform site surveys and measurements for new projects
Establish a consultative approach when working with customers and sales team
Perform follow up meetings with team members after completion of work to best identify areas for improvement
What we require:
Minimum (3) years' experience in project management- construction or large format production
Solid working knowledge of large format printing, finishing processes and materials
Knowledgeable in the movement of materials through the manufacturing process
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Self-motivated with ability to work independently
Strong background in Outlook, Microsoft and Adobe Suite software
Must be able to use and read a standard tape measure
Exceptional math skills & creative problem solving
Report to work as scheduled to support business operations
Occasional late nights/or weekend work and local travel

Project Management- Job Description
Job Summary:
The Project Manager will represent our endeavors in a supportive role, as the liaison between multiple internal departments, sister companies, clients, vendors and installers. All projects must comply within the scope of the project managers, operational procedures which define the processes that are performed throughout the life of a project to ensure profitability and success. As the Project Manager you are responsible for client/vendor communications and negotiations for projects requiring installation. You are the team leader during project meetings and the primary scheduler for equipment rentals, sourcing, site surveys and installations beyond our company's core competency. Provide solutions, drawings, mockups and define project build-out to all internal departments (clients when needed to help upsell a product.) This position requires the sourcing of the most economical method from manufacturing to installation, final delivery, vendor/contractor management, vendor price negotiations and the startup and upkeep of an ongoing (Google Doc shared, library of vendor contact information and capabilities) The project manager will foster a spirit of cooperation within all departments and between colleagues to ensure all projects are delivered on time and to requested specifications. As the representative of this position, you will report to the local manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide team support in the production environment
Oversee and manage site surveys and installations
Lead and schedule pre/post meetings for small and large rollouts with production team
Conduct daily status updates on projects
Read and work with abstract designs, elevation plans and blueprints
Use internal or external sources and vendors to help establish best materials and processes for RFQ's
Source new vendors and continue strengthening existing relationships with suppliers
Evaluate methods available for producing the job with estimating and select the plan which produces the job in the most economical way and on time
Proof all estimated costs for accuracy and value prior to sending off for customer approval.
Solve problems in the in the office and out on the field as they develop
Accurately measure and perform site surveys and measurements for new projects
Establish a consultative approach when working with customers and sales team
Determine the production centers and routing needed to produce the job as specified
Calculate costs associated with vendor resourcing
Maintain awareness and knowledge of material price changes and competitive pricing
Constant communication with internal sales team and operations
Must regularly analyze customer needs versus equipment constraints and choose among several alternative courses of action (sister Riot Color Center or outsourced vendor) to select best methods
Perform follow up meetings with the customer after completion of work to best identify areas for improvement
Continued education in materials, fixtures, displays and graphic applications
Required attendance at daily production meetings
Occasional late night and/or weekend work
