iSphere is seeking a Project Manager in Houston, TX for a very compelling 12+ month opportunity.

Working with the Project Owner, manage the project to meet the needs of the business, benefits as outlined in the business case, reasonable expectations of end users and the project steering committee.
Responsible for the project, including project planning, resource allocation, steering committee leadership and team organizational structure management.
Maintains and controls the project budget, schedule and resources in compliance with IT project management guidelines.
Manages project scope, risk and issue resolution
Responsible for quality of project deliverables
Responsible for disseminating information to key project team members
If project is agile, responsible to act as the scrum master or work with the scrum master to ensure the appropriate agile ways of working are utilized (sprint planning, backlog grooming, user story creation, demos, retrospective, etc.)
Coaches and mentors staff and managers under direct report
Responsible for managing relationship with consultant project manager if applicable
In conjunction with the technical resources, manage integration of solution(s) into enterprise technical architecture and business environment
In conjunction with the project owner and business subject matter experts, manages highly complex business issues arising from the implementation of new processes or functions
In conjunction with procurement, manage all procurement of hardware, software and services

Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to speak to technical-level staff and summarize communications for executive consumption.
Excellent project management skills, with demonstrated track record.
Excellent management and team-building skills.
Utilizes project management software tools such as MS Project and Agile collaboration tools to effectively manage, monitor and control project activities.
Ability to analyze, understand and effectively communicate between business requirements and technical design and implementation.
Business application and system development life cycle management.
Budget planning and management.
Problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making skills to influence management as well as internal and external partners.
Demonstrated leadership abilities; effective in matrix management and team building.
Experienced in facilitation and negotiating.
Skills Needed:
7 to 10 years of IT and business/industry work.
Multiple successful IT project (e.g., a project that realized its anticipated business benefits and was delivered in a timely manner within budgetary boundaries) utilizing the same software (vendor and version, if possible) that is being implemented in the same or similar industry sector.
Familiar with Agile methodology, including Scrum, SAFE, etc. and has lead at least one successful agile project from planning to close. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is preferred.
Three to five years of leadership responsibility managing midsize to large teams and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.
Certification from recognized authority preferred (e.g., project management professional [PMP] certification from the Project Management Institute [PMI]) for international projects or global rollouts, and experience in leading internationally distributed teams.
Bachelors or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field; or equivalent work experience.

VIEW JOBS 11/10/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-08T00:00 General Description: Under minimal direct supervision, the "Integrated Products Project Lead"; and working closely with the "Integrated Products Supply Chain Lead" in a two-person team environment, will manage the day-to-day tasks/processes to efficiently take a customer PO systemically through the various stages needed to ship a Meter Tube/Venturi/Flow Nozzle that meets our customers spec's and time lines. The candidate will represent the Integrated Products group in working with other functional groups on critical customer orders requiring urgent follow-up. Primary Job Responsibilities: * Interface with customer and internal stake holders * Fill out MT datasheets in the current Engineering Departments format * Review PO against the quote o Separate and send meter to ETO * Send datasheets and all other supporting documents MT Order Processor * Create a package of drawings etc. for customer approval o Receive approvals and communicate as required * Develop Item Creation for Meter, MT, Top Level Assemblies * Insure Work Flow approvals are completed in a timely manner (WF performed by others within current processes but should be monitored) * Book Sales Order (Performed by others within current processes but should be monitored) * Coordinate "hold points" and any customer witness requirements * Provide guidance to Document Control to ensure customer Doc requirements are met * Monitor shipments with shipping team * Initiate the timely resolution of all issues that may arise * Support the project management group with material planning, expediting and project coordination * Provide team leadership by suggesting process improvements * Provide assistance and/or independently resolving issues * Use continuous improvement tools to affect improvements in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) * Mentor others in the group * Develop "back-up" persons * NCR's (Performed by others within current processes but should be monitored) Education/Experience/Language Skills/Abilities * Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a related discipline * 5 years in Project Management (fabrication-related experience is an asset) * Organizational and analytical skills * Ability to work effectively with all levels of management. To facilitate accomplishment of mutual goals. * Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate with suppliers in other countries * Ability to comprehend and interpret engineering drawings, quality systems requirements and customer specifications * Ability to understand component requirements and requirements to suppliers * Ability to project a positive and professional image on behalf of the organization * Possess sufficient oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with suppliers and all levels of staff throughout the org * Ability to solve problems independently * Solid personal computer skills with strong capability with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint * Work Authorization No calls or agencies please.
