Disney Streaming Services is a business unit within The Walt Disney Company's Direct-to-Consumer and International (DTCI) segment that oversees all consumer-facing digital video subscription services across the company. Disney Streaming is responsible for developing and operating The Walt Disney Company's direct-to-consumer video businesses globally, including the ESPN+ premium sports streaming service, programmed in conjunction with ESPN; the upcoming Disney SVOD service; and BAMTECH Media, a global leader in direct-to-consumer video streaming products and solutions. Its core mission is to deliver global audiences the freedom to access content on their terms across any connected device, time or location.

With Enterprise Program Management group, this intern will help with process development and implementation in our evolving organization. The Project Management Intern will assist Project Managers with planning, budget and overseeing all aspects of technology projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers and leadership in identifying and documenting best practices in an evolving centralized Enterprise Program Management team.

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to work closely with the benefitting line of business to make sure that the scope and direction of each technical project is on schedule, as well as work with other stakeholders for support.

  • Assist Program Managers on coordination of various project outputs. This includes reporting, notifications, facilitating schedules and communications.

  • Have direct involvement with assigned tasks designed to enhance the functions and services provided by the Project Management Office. This might include benchmarking best practices, investigating available tools, making recommendations on process and procedures, etc.

  • Assisting with full cycle project management of business cases and other strategic objectives for enhancements and new features.

  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
