Interactive Business Systems (IBS) has partnered with a Milwaukee based company to find a Project Manager for a long-term contract position .

Required Experience/ Skills

Bachelor's Degree. Computer Science or Information Systems/Technology preferred.
PMI (PMP) or equivalent Certification preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of relevant job experience with at least 6 years of project management experience.
Experience leading cross functional projects against demanding timelines.
Experienced managing large scale projects with a focus on infrastructure

In this role you would oversee a range of time/project management assignments associated with our owned and managed assets. You would partner with corporate leadership, purchasing, vendors, hotel managers, subcontractors and construction personnel. Typical duties in this position include: * Preparing field reports * Assisting with document control * Working directly with the site construction managers and subcontractors on the timely completion of assignment * Scheduling and ensuring scheduled dates are met * Coordinating with hotel management and staff for project moves, changes and construction * Work with procurement, logistics, warehouse and design to ensure FF/E products are expedited to meet dates required * Coordinating construction with other activities such as liquidation and installation of FF/E * Receiving and expediting RFI¿s with the project team * Monitoring and ensuring quality of construction * Conducting walk-throughs and completing punch lists with contractors * Participate in reviewing, approving and tracking of change orders * Participating in tracking of costs as compared to budget This position will require the ability to travel to project sites within the US on a frequent basis and for extended periods of time. We seek candidates with the following qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Engineering or related discipline (preferred) * Degree preference optional with strong hotel operations and/or capital project leadership experience * Articulate, with clear analytical approach to problem solving * Good decision making * Proven organizational and time management skill set * Team leadership experience and strength * Strong written and verbal communicator * Ability to navigate web-based construction management software * Generally understand and utilize information technology in the performance of work including * Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
