Primary Responsibilities

HDR is looking for a Project Manager to join our Oil & Gas Pipelines Program in Charlotte, NC. In this role we'll count on you to:

  • Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single or multi-disciplined projects for oil and gas transmission and/or gas utility clients

  • Independently coordinate work of professional staff and balance team throughout entire project's development

  • Establish and develop client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings

  • Participate in reviews with project owners and/or various governing agencies for compliance

  • Conduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff

  • Coordinate workload through entire project development, and ensure completion of work products on schedule and within budget

  • Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule

  • Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manage

VIEW JOBS 1/18/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-18T00:00 The Audit Project Manager is primarily responsible for supervising Senior and Staff Auditors in the completion of audit engagements with minimal supervision from the Audit Manager. The Audit Project Manager is expected to monitor progress of audit engagements against plan and schedule, assess work performed by the Audit Engagement Team, and provide coaching and on-the-job training for Team members to ensure engagements are completed in conformance with CAS Policies, Standards and Guidelines. Duties 1. Supervising Senior and Staff Auditors in the completion of audit engagements. Includes assessing work performed by Senior and Staff Auditors; providing coaching notes that are relevant to the scope, accuracy and completeness of work performed; performing reviews to ensure work papers contain relevant facts to support audit scope and conclusions and adhere to CAS Policies, Standards and Guidelines; and reviewing Points for Discussion to ensure issues, potential exposures and significance are included, root causes are identified, and operationally effective and cost-effective actions to address those causes are developed into appropriate recommendations. 2. Completing or assisting the Audit Manager in planning audit engagements. Includes identifying and analyzing business processes, key risks and critical controls; determining audit scope; evaluating control design adequacy; and developing audit programs which provide sufficient guidance for testing control performance effectiveness and making evaluations which effectively achieve audit objectives. 3. Assisting the Audit Manager in the reporting and wrap-up phases of audits. Includes appropriate disposition of issues described in Points for Discussion and drafting audit reports which include reportable issues. 4. Monitoring progress of audit engagements against plan and schedule. Includes making necessary adjustments and promptly completing work paper reviews on a timely basis to ensure all issues are identified and dispositioned prior to report draft issuance. 5. Providing on-the-job training for Audit Staff and Senior Auditors. Includes business knowledge of U.S. Bank products, services, and delivery systems; company policies and procedures; applicable laws and regulations; and formal/informal control frameworks. 6. Performing other duties as requested by CAS management. Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience * Seven to ten years of experience in an applicable risk management environment Preferred Skills/Experience * Proven leadership skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. * Thorough understanding of IIA Standards and the common definition of internal controls. * Relevant Financial Service / Industry knowledge (e.g., Regulation 9, Securities Exchange Act of 1934, OCC) * Engagement with industry groups (e.g., SIFMA, CANNON, FIRMA, MSRB) * CIA, CPA or other relevant professional designation 8.
