Project Manager - Insurance/Remodel

Alyeska Builders is looking to add another great project manager to our team!

Currently hiring for a Project Manager that will oversee remodel & insurance projects. (Would work on and oversee various remodels, as well as insurance repair / rebuild work). Projects range widely in size and complexity.

This position is open to the following applicants:

1.Experienced project manager / superintendent. If you have prior job experience managing construction projects, we would love to visit with you about this opportunity!

2.Journeyman carpenters looking to advance in to a management position. Must have extensive understanding of construction industry, processes, vendors and be confident in managing others.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 8 years in construction industry.

• Use of computers / company software is required. Alyeska Builders will provide training on company software, however, applicants must have basic computer skills such as: ability to utilize email, safari, typing skills (30WPM or greater).

• Must be willing & able to pass a drug test.

• Valid driver's license (driving record without major violations, suspensions within last 5 years).

JOB DESCRIPTION, DUTIES:

• Oversee day to day operations on projects assigned.

• Review daily job reports.

• Communicate with trade partners / subcontractors.

• Communicate with vendors, place & track material orders.

• Complete site meetings / inspections with clients when necessary.

• Communicate with clients & build team.

• Prepare & submit change orders when applicable.

• Complete scheduling for your team, review weekly, daily.

• Quality assurance. Project manager must have ability to review work completed, and enforce corrections when work completed is not to Alyeska Builders standard.

• Problem solving.

• Leadership, mentoring.

• Individual must be extremely organized, and able to multi-task effectively.

All of the above tasks require use of our project management system. Strong computer skills will be needed to effectively fill this position.

SCHEDULE DETAILS

Our crew works year round - ability to work overtime is required.

Monday - Friday is typical. (8AM-6PM) We do take long holiday weekends, and our team members rotate taking time off to enjoy our Alaskan summers!
