The Project Manager will assist with account teams to manage national installation project requests. This Project Manager role is for the right organized and detailed individual looking for a challenge and growth. This is a fast-paced project management environment focused on coordinating signage and display projects in retail, event, construction, showroom, and corporate office environments. This person will be responsible for meeting project requirements and controlling costs by coordinating and effectively utilizing all of the resources needed for the project.


  • Work independently and with peers to understand the scope of the project; review materials, timelines, activities, and documentation.

  • Maintain accurate project details; create purchase orders for vendors, update project details for invoicing, track costs, and record project specific notes.

  • Communicate project detail to vendors for price quotes, timing details, insurance requirements, equipment needs.

  • Support Account Management team on all daily functions related to coordinating client projects.

  • Responsible for supporting project resources during the course of the project lifecycle; serve as the point person for the project.

  • Drive tracking budget expenses, reporting, and adherence to timelines or schedules.

  • Ensure that the project outcomes meet the deliverable deadlines and the required standard of quality; partner with Installation team and clients to ensure delivery.


  • 3+ years of project coordinating or project management experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline.

  • Highly proficient with MS Office software; high aptitude for Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with project management techniques and tools.

  • Experience with continuous process improvement.

  • Ability to develop and track budget expenses.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience excelling within fast paced, high energy environments.

VIEW JOBS 1/19/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-04-18T00:00 Milliman is seeking a world-class Employee Benefits/Health and Welfare Benefits Strategy consulting practice leader with responsibility for developing capability to support while also leading consulting engagements in service to higher education, academic medical center and selected additional clients with the full range of employee benefits, health, welfare, productivity, and related issues. The successful candidate will be recognized for their domain expertise, and will have an established track record working with a diverse range of clients. They will have previously held a leadership role in health management practice development and client management, and will have successfully led high-performing teams. The successful candidate will have demonstrated both a commitment to, and experience in, serving the non-profit sector, especially institutions of higher of education and/or university systems or consortia. The candidate will focus aggressively on serving colleges, universities and university systems, but also support other Milliman clients and teams, to help our clients align their health and welfare benefits and services strategies to their mission, strategic goals and institutional initiatives, and help drive relevant and sustainable change. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS * MBA or equivalent master's degree required. * Additional advanced degrees, or industry-recognized professional credentials, such as SPHR, a plus. * A minimum of 12 - 15 years of senior-level employee benefits consulting experience with direct responsibility for business development/sales, project management, and delivery. * Minimum of ten years of team leadership experience. * Substantial experience selling, leading, and delivering projects to public and private institutions of higher education. * Strong understanding of shared governance environments and effective use of consensus building in both public and private university and college environments. * Substantial experience leading projects within the higher education and broader nonprofit industry sectors. * An effective and competent communicator with senior university leadership, faculty, staff managers and rank and file employees. * Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills required. RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will be responsible for: Developing and Implementing health benefits strategies, health/wellness/productivity initiatives and solutions * Work with both clients and internal resources to identify or develop consulting offerings that align with current services and support new offers, to grow Milliman's competitive advantage in the health and welfare benefits/health management consulting space. * Develop client and prospect discussion documents, proposal support, and execution plans. * Develop internal delivery capability (core team of consulting practitioners and network of experts). * Provide training, coaching and mentoring as required to develop domain expertise and consulting skills. Business Development and Client Relationship Management * Increase awareness of Milliman's higher education health management consulting expertise and service offerings, and create demand pipelines. * Develop client relationships and sales plans; expand revenue with existing accounts and expand the portfolio of clients served. * Create a collaborative participatory model to drive sales through Milliman leaders and colleagues. Take a disciplined approached to account penetration and relationship development. * Develop and execute on launch plan: thought leadership, channel engagement, account penetration, and demand generation activities (consortial meetings, client roundtables, compelling pursuit strategies, webinars, and internal roadshows). * Build advisory relationships with higher education and other clients; proactively influence client agendas to reframe and/or identify opportunities; view issues from multiple perspectives, and leverage their own and other team members' expertise to recommend an approach forward. * Partner with colleagues and clients to create thought leadership. Leverage insights to recommend health and welfare management/health benefits strategy solutions for clients. * Speak at consortial meetings and other events to introduce offerings and expand brand value proposition. * Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with clients and internal colleagues, demonstrating their expertise, ability to listen, and ability to persuade and influence. * Lead and partner with Milliman teams in the development and submission of health and welfare-related RFP and RFI responses. Client Service Delivery The successful candidate will co-create, recommend and deliver strategic and customized client solutions that deliver desired outcomes. The candidate will support and provide coaching to delivery teams. They will: * Evaluate client needs, and scope and structure client engagements to drive value for clients and profitable growth for Milliman. * Motivate and lead teams (where necessary, across service lines and levels of expertise) to deliver high-quality and high-impact compensation and total rewards solutions. * Monitor performance and ensure teams are appropriately enabled, and resolve escalated issues/solves problems. * Manage client relationships and expectations.
