Summary: Provide overall project management direction on a wide variety of construction projects. Personal initiative and critical thinking skills will be essential to complete job duties with minimal guidance. The position is deadline-driven; Project Managers must be able to set priorities, take ownership of projects, work efficiently, and provide a consistent level of high quality in a high-pressure environment. Project Managers must demonstrate innovation, excellent communication skills, and a high level of customer service. Per State of California pay transparency law, the posted salary range for this position is $107,711/year-$157,042/year. Please note this is a tiered position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to) Review and approve detailed project/component-level Manage and oversee projects, including managing the estimating/proposal process, subcontracting process, and subcontractors' activities; identify and recommend solutions to mitigate issues and problems encountered during various construction phases in accordance with the project scope of work, acceptable construction code/practices, and Federal and State Broad knowledge of Site Work, Commercial Steel Framing, Masonry, Concrete, Roofing, Drywall, Taping, Electrical, HVAC, Flooring, Painting, Doors, Frames & Hardware. Travel to job sites to gather information on materials needed, labor required, and other factors in order to prepare estimates. Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications and performing quantity take-offs for select trades. Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses. Interact with clients, architects, engineers, and local Jurisdictions to understand and incorporate project objectives, schedules, permits, costs, etc. Develop and define acceptance criteria for all project phases/key deliverables. Close monitoring of critical milestones and Ensure the project stays aligned with the strategic goals and delivers the planned/stated Provide engineering and technical guidance, support, coordination, and oversight to project staff preparing written project Collaborate with various groups within Ahtna and multiple client Identification analysis of all project risks and prepare a risk response Proactive communication of risks to concerned Identify and ensure the resolution of all project-level Manage all communications between internal stakeholders, clients, and third Ensure preparation of various status and progress reports with metrics for various Align all the project components and groups to ensure project Supervise construction field staff and tradesmen. Work closely with site superintendents in executing a wide variety of construction activities, overseeing and conducting field quality control functions with field QC Foster a high-performance team environment where diversity is valued and people are treated with respect and Applying innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance. Mentor junior Ensure compliance with all quality, regulatory, and security Preparing and reviewing proposals per RFP and bid documents, including estimating and bid reviews.     Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Physical/Environmental Sciences, or another relevant field of Experience may be substituted for education on a 1:1 basis Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record, able to drive a company vehicle Prior experience managing and estimating commercial construction. Ability to pass background checks by various Federal Agencies (e.g., DOD, DHS, FAA, ) to obtain security access badges Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, , and their impact on project activities Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Adept at explaining technical aspects of fieldwork to internal and external clients verbally and in writing Level

  • II Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience, specialized training, and/or an advanced degree such as MS may be substituted for work experience Level

  • Senior Five (5) or more years of relevant working experience, specialized training, and/or an advanced degree such as MS may be substituted for work experience Preferred Qualifications: Proficient with Microsoft Project, PDF Converter Professional, Bluebeam REVU, RSMeans, and local, state, and federal databases.
