JOB DESCRIPTION

As Project Manager III - IT, your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Plan priorities that impact multiple or enterprise/global projects.

  • Manage end-to-end project delivery of multiple projects with highly complex issues, tech platforms.

  • Typically manage projects at the Enterprise level.

  • Project point of contact for communications, milestones and review briefings.

  • Accountable for assuring effective transition into production and meeting production acceptance readiness criteria.

  • Highly effective organization of meetings to ensure flow, participation, progress, proactive mitigation of risks and issues; can train others.

  • Develop, update and maintain project plan and other project documentation.

  • Manage, lead project team in, project activities including analysis, design and development, testing, training, implementation and post implementation.

  • Assign tasks, provide guidance, mentor project team.

  • Plan and direct schedules to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.

  • Analyze and facilitate resolution of issues; carefully controls change.

  • Interact with necessary stakeholders/team members to manage project scope and identify, evaluate, communicate, escalate issues.

  • Communicate status of project within/across depts.

  • Optimize results through highly effective communications.

  • May be enlisted to assist in gathering portfolio data, preparing presentations, completing data analysis, or other ad hoc tasks to contribute to the overall vertical or enterprise portfolio.

  • Communicate with IT leadership, business leadership and IT Business Consultants to communicate program or project strategy, direction and changes.

  • Communicate status of project within/across depts.

  • Optimize results through highly effective communications.

  • Review and refine requirements

  • Guide SMEs through discussions about requirements gaps or future states

  • Review requirements and build or assess initial test plans

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required, preferably in IT Project Management.

  • PMP (or comparable PM certification).

  • 10+ years' IT experience of which is required 7+ years' project management experience.

  • Budget management: consistently maintains and uses project budget and actuals tracking to ensure costs are maintained within the specified tolerance level, and can train others in these skills.

  • Impact analysis: consistently able to assess impact for, with minimal supervision, each project aspect and determine if project can expand or not to address new idea, and can train others.

  • Project planning: consistently able to independently translate functional requirements into project plans, and can train others.

  • Project implementation: consistently able to effectively implement all project phases, and can train others.

  • Project management fundamentals: advanced knowledge of schedule, risk management, issues management, leadership, and can train others.

  • Documentation: consistently clear, accurate, and can train others.

  • Communication: consistently demonstrates advanced clear, articulate, concise; verbal and written.

  • Organization/prioritization: consistently utilized and effective over own work.

  • Demonstrated effective (intermediate level) use and experience with MS Visio, Project & Excel.

  • Leadership skills: extensive demonstrated experience in overall lead role (senior project level, management/direction setting experience.

  • Problem analysis and solving skills: consistently applied within project management environment.

  • Matrix management skills: demonstrated experience.

  • Extensive demonstrated experience incorporating software development life cycle into project plan.

  • General knowledge of IT applications and infrastructure environment.

  • Demonstrated experience at maintaining forward progress despite conflicting priorities and competition for resources.

VIEW JOBS 1/24/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-04-23T00:00 JOB REQUISITION Regional Project Manager III LOCATION SAN RAMON JOB DESCRIPTION As Regional Project Manager III your specific responsibilities will include: * Plan, organize, staff, and control regional real estate opening and closing projects. * Consult with senior field management on the development of the project plan including setting deadlines. * Monitor project budget, scope and schedules and ensure projects are completed according to schedule to avoid lost revenue due to delayed office openings or moves. Typically works on an average of 3-6 projects at a time. Size and scope of project varies by budget ($3-5 million/per project - total ~ $20 million capital expenditure per year). * Mitigate project risks and bring issues to resolution. * Gather project information from project databases, vendors, and/or outside sources in support of regional projects. * Create and distribute a weekly Project Status Report. * Facilitate the weekly internal partner project status meeting. * Provide reports and recommendations of current or new office locations related to space utilization and market conditions. * Work with local management to identify location needs for projects. * Facilitate real estate project authorization and approval processes (BMR and REPA) by initiating projects within the project tracking databases, preparing necessary forms and/or information folders, and disseminating project information to other organizations. * Facilitate CSC related projects as needed. * Participate with project close out activities. * Manage lease terminations to ensure no carryover rent once vacated a location. * Provide lease related information to the Lease Administration team. * Ensure real estate standards are followed for project planning, delivery, and closeout related to opening/closing and consolidating serviced offices. As appropriate allow exceptions to established real estate standards. * Make recommendations for improvement/changes to real estate standards and processes. * Actively evaluate, secure, and manage vendor (construction, move team, furniture, signage) relationships for specific projects. * Negotiate costs with vendors and secure contract for work ensuring contractual compliance. * Solicit feedback from users and communicates back to vendors. * Manage vendors working on site such as contractors, security and movers. * Provides customer service to field personnel. * Communicate project status and/or receiving information requests. * First POC for field management or vendors related to project activities. * Assist in identifying real estate strategies that support business needs. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree required. * Corporate or commercial real estate, project management, facilities management, and/or organizational behavioral certifications preferred. * 5+ years' experience working in corporate/commercial real estate and/or customer relationship management team required. * Previous real estate project management experience required. * Thorough knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, and experience with project tracking systems and databases required. * Ability to read construction documents and drawings required. * Project management, property management, real estate transactions, leasing, and/or customer management training or experience required.
