You will be expected to have right people in the right place at the right time to enable the agency to produce great creative work - on time, on budget and as efficiently as possible.

As a Senior Creative Project Manager, you must be able to manage multiple large-scale brand and creative projects at the same time - from developing initial statements of work, estimates and timelines through project delivery. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the project plan and budget, and working with creative leadership on staffing plan. You must manage change throughout the life of each project; monitoring project status, evaluating risk, communicating potential impacts to budget and project delivery, and adjusting resources and priorities accordingly.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the communications hub between all Agency team members and partners who may touch an assigned account/project.

  • Lead the development of creative project workflow templates in our agency management system, Workamajig. Use data from past projects to evaluate and adjust templates as needed.

  • Lead development of creative scopes, project estimates and schedules

  • Ensure that proper forecasting is being done for all creative projects

  • Oversee creation of detailed project schedules (from creative development through delivery) and manage throughout the life of each project. Work with Creative leadership to plan and manage creative resources. Raise any staffing concerns as quickly as possible.

  • Set up and run all necessary key touch-point meetings in the process.

  • Organize, manage, prioritize and be accountable for project workflow from creative development through delivery of materials

  • Develop, manage and enforce a rigorous approvals process (from creative development through production phases of each project).

  • Manage any freelance or outside creative resources/vendors, as needed

  • Manage project scopes, timelines and budgets. Alert team if a project strays out of the originally set parameters. Engage in contingency planning and recommend solutions.

  • Keep Director of Operations & Director of Client Services aware of progress on each project and the development/deployment of the process - raising concerns as quickly as possible.

  • Keep detailed records of the life of a project. Lead post-mortem evaluations of completed projects, as needed

  • Provide insight on process improvements or resources/tools opportunities.

  • Help to develop the skill set and career path of any/all project managers on your team - organize and gather data for performance reviews.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7+ years of project management experience - preferably from a traditional advertising agency setting (for candidates outside agency only).

  • Experience working within agency management or project management software, such as Workamajig

  • Basic to expert understanding of one or all brand and creative production disciplines

  • Self-motivated, quick and assertive.

  • Extremely detailed oriented and organized.

  • Exceptional time management skills.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

  • Cool, calm, collected and collaborative.

  • Strong sense of design and experience with industry leading creative output.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, Adobe Acrobat Professional.

  • A working knowledge of MSProject and/or FileMakerPro, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc., a plus.

Due to our growth we're adding this position to our team. Currently we have several large, multi-million dollar construction projects ongoing in Southern Florida that this person would lead. Required to be at customer site on regular basis. Searching for a seasoned Construction Project mgr who understands mechanical equipment and the technology that goes with it. Under general direction, responsible for the profitable execution of assigned Projects. Works with Owner and contractor sales managers and branch installation manager and teams as needed to provide sales support activities early in the TAS and development process to provide input on strategy, vendor / partner's selection, scope enhancements, value engineering, risk assessment etc. as needed. Ensures that assigned projects are done accurately, on-time, billed, within budget and within scope of the contract. Maintains positive cash flow. Actively pursues selling change orders. Ensures work performed is in compliance with state, local and Federal legal requirements and operates on the job with the highest of ethics. Adheres and ensures Johnson Controls staff and subcontractors adhere to all safety standards. Responsible for following consistent and repeatable project management procedures and processes. Maintains an effective balance between customer satisfaction and project financial results. How you will do it 1. Acts as the primary on-site leader for execution teams on assigned projects. Develops project schedules and executes according to plan for assigned projects. 2. Evaluates the contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued bulletins, field directives and / or scheduling changes. Actively pursues additional work through change orders. Performs associated cost estimates, prepares proposals and negotiates final settlement price and customer acceptance. 3. Manages costs, billings and collections. Completes project billings in a timely and accurate format to the client. Maintains profitability goals and positive cash flow. 4. Reviews and interprets contract Terms and Conditions. 5. Analyzes financial reporting systems and project schedules to proactively address potential problems. Effectively communicates project progress, issues and financial status to management as required. Utilizes Microsoft Project to execute and evaluate job progress and risks. 6. Manages risks and establishes project recovery plans when required. Resolves disputes with minimal need for escalation. 7. Negotiates, prepares and issues subcontracts. 8. Ensures project document controls are in compliance with contract requirements and JCI standards. 9. Oversees project construction for compliance with specifications, local codes and installation techniques. 10. Manages the selection, ordering, and delivery schedule of materials to be procured for the projects assigned. 11. Develops and maintains viable long-term relationships with customers, consultants, prime contractors and subcontractors. Attends job progress meetings as required. Ensures subcontractors understand expectations of the project. 12. Coordinates with the CMS and HVAC Installation Manager, Systems Team Leader and / or Branch Mechanical Project Team Leader for allocation of resources needed to meet project objectives. For select and / or Mechanical projects, may Self-perform cost estimating, project scheduling and project management of assigned projects. What we look for Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture or an Associates Degree with equivalent work related experience. Minimum of eight years of direct project management experience in the Building Construction Industry. Management experience with projects related to Mechanical Retrofits, HVAC controls, BAS management, Fire management, and Security management systems is desired. Expectation that PMI/PMP (Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional) certification will be obtained within 2 years of employment in the position. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience. Proficient in Project Management software and financial accounting systems. Strong Personal Computer working capabilities in MS Office (excel, word, power point, project), Adobe Writer, Visio and basic Windows environment. Travel will vary on project assignment. Able to execute projects of higher project and contract complexity. (Multiple subcontractors and multiple scopes of work) Experience in dealing with a large and diverse number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of many different disciplines.
