The Project Manager III for Library Media Services is a critical role supporting the Academic Services team across content and programmatic workstreams. This position directly supports special projects, ensures strong systems for communication, implementation, monitoring, and feedback, ensuring equity is at the forefront of the work and all students are provided opportunities for growth and success. Additionally, this role will focus on special projects, the implementation and support of the Standards of Service in district libraries and lead Project READ, an innovative initiative to transform school libraries into dynamic, technology-rich learning spaces that connect literacy and STEM experiences.
Leads planning of special projects to ensure coherence, alignment with district initiatives, and continuous improvement.
Supports researching and developing new initiatives as directed by supervisor.
Builds and manages collaborative decision-making structures across Academic.
Services teams for interdisciplinary workstreams.
Develops and supports ongoing implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement structures for the district's plan related to curriculum and instructions, key community projects, and events that support equity-based literacy and STEM opportunities, and the Standards of Service in school libraries.
Oversees Project READ, providing technology implementation, support, coaching, and training to transform school libraries into dynamic, technology-rich learning spaces.
Provides guidance and training on the implementation and effective use of AI within Dallas ISD.
Provides professional development and training for library staff on implementing the Standards of Service, new technologies, and best practices in library management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in a directly related field; Master's Degree in Library Service or related field preferred.
5 years of experience in a directly related field.
Demonstrated administrative ability to manage projects and resources to meet established deadlines.
