GENERAL SUMMARY: Plans and manages the delivery of business systems solutions and associated application technologies in support of business objectives and ongoing operations. This includes systems and project planning, process and workflow enhancement, risk management, execution, implementation and systems integration. Works closely with the functional business groups to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of systems solutions deployed in support of business goals and objectives.# Projects are typically medium to large/complex in characteristics.# Manages projects independently.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Assists in the evaluation, selection, contract negotiation, purchasing and implementation of new computer equipment and/or software applications for use throughout organization and/or its affiliates.# Works closely with client management in documenting how the above processes align with organizational goals and strategies. Analyzes requests for information/proposal responses or quotes against the identified requirements and desired outputs as documented and discussed with clients.# Creates initial decision matrix and evaluation weights for system selection.# Prepares reports and coordinates financial justification for approval by corporate committees and boards. Manages key projects including goals # objectives, scope, approach, project organization, definition of team member roles and responsibilities, communication strategy, work plan development, training strategies, management of external consultants, vendors and resources, execution of project tasks against the plan, regular project reporting, and resolution of issues that arise. Works closely with ISS Management in preparation for turnover of implemented system to day to day support. Works closely with Project Sponsor and Project team in identifying department workflow and operational processes to be analyzed, redesigned or reengineered along with departmental policies and procedures. Integrates process work into overall project delivery.# Document and agree upon deliverable acceptance criteria. Identifies metrics to be used to evaluate project success.# Works closely with Finance and Decision Support Departments in development of measureable outcomes. In collaboration with ISS Management and others, facilitates the identification, development, and implementation of the applicable state, federal, and accreditation requirements in relation to Information Management projects (e.g., JCAHO, HIPAA, and others). Reports to and regularly communicates with the System Director, Service Delivery on project status.# Attends committee meetings, provides input into corporate-wide policies and procedures regarding data collection and analysis, and other activities related to information systems. Functions as a change agent throughout the project. # KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Required Education and/or Experience: Bachelor#s Degree Minimum of 3 years of project management experience Broad-based knowledge of computer systems Solid experience in managing projects which involve business-to-system and/or system-to-system integration. # Preferred Education and/or Experience: Minimum 3years of healthcare experience Minimum 6 years of project management experience # Preferred License/Certification: Certificates in Healthcare Informatics (CPHIMS) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Required Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience

  • Broad-based knowledge of computer systems

  • Solid experience in managing projects which involve business-to-system and/or system-to-system integration.

Preferred Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum 3years of healthcare experience

  • Minimum 6 years of project management experience

  • Preferred License/Certification:

Certificates in Healthcare Informatics (CPHIMS) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP)

The services this role is responsible for include Internet, Ethernet, Voice, and Cloud products that span across our residential and business services market segments. Duties and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below: * Utilizes agile methodology through SCRUM to manage the backlog and deliver on commitments. * Evaluates new build areas and provides engineering build plans and timelines on what's needed to deploy network based products and services. * Provides input to product, project, and general management on issues relating to product development, and project timelines. * Works under the direction of senior engineers to create product and service design documentation. * Participate in proof of concept design and testing alongside teammates. * Creates engineering deployment documentation for all network products and services. These include designs, MOP's, API Guides and the like. * Provides input on standards for scripts and tools that help in implementing product functionality, system functionality, and KPI reporting. * Assists team in ensuring product delivery is automated and reliable * Design and execute test plans and functionality validation in lab environments. * Identifies bugs in testing and works expeditiously to correct them before product launch. * Provides input on standard software applications to meet product requirements and deliver exceptional experiences to customers. * Partners with vendors and internal peer groups to configure and test new systems and technologies on the enablement of new product features or delivery processes. * Acts as subject matter expert on the team for1-3 areas of the technology stack which can include but not be limited to: IP Networking, software development, database administration, VOIP, Cloud Ecosystems, Systems Administration, Systems Integration or the like. * Responsible for communicating technical and non-technical concepts across a wide variety of groups within the organization. * Oversee and complete special projects. * All other duties as assigned Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
