Coordinates Work with external engineers, construction managers and other service providers to coordinate activates

Develops close working relationships with internal partners including Quality assurance and faculties

Tracks and controls technical documentation following established procedures.

Develops basic understanding of the technical processes used in projects

Works on risk assessments and traceability matrices

Writes meeting minutes and assures that they are distributed

Assist with the reviewing of documents to ensure compliance with expectations

Participates in team meetings; Runs dally 'scrum' meetings

Works with project manager to address key issues

Works with corporate business systems

Communicates project decisions and milestones

Set up and maintain project specific computerized document control system using tools such as Sharepoint sites and MS office suite


Must be able to work quickly with a high degree of accuracy.

Must possess sound interpersonal and information gathering skills, being able to relate well to others at all levels throughout the organization and have the ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others



BA/BS to fit above requirements
2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated industry preferred

VIEW JOBS 1/15/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-15T00:00 DescriptionProject Manager of Corporate Events Responsibilities: The Events Coordinator will assist in the planning and coordination of industry trade shows, conferences, and other corporate events helping to ensure corporate objectives and budgets are met. Successful candidates are highly organized individuals able to communicate clearly and effectively with the ability to pay strong attention to detail and handle multiple projects from start to finish. Working with the Manager of Events, responsibilities are: * Coordinate show services, marketing materials, accommodations, transportation, badge registrations, onsite services, technical services, booth setup, product placement, etc. * Work within the given budget for assigned shows * Conduct planning meetings to develop time line, product lists, attendee lists, theme, and all logistical needs * Provide written summaries evaluating tradeshow success and future opportunities for improvement * Maintain current knowledge of event planning industry tools * Work closely with 3rd party vendors to ensure success at events * Maintains events budget * Ability to work with internal resources to calculate ROI * Research new trends and event opportunities * Creates reports to monitor timelines, deliverables, and attendance. * Works with PR and Social Teams to promote events * Event trade show lead process * Assist team with sourcing and securing event sponsorships * Assist with trade show graphics and asset creation * Other duties as assigned QualificationsQualifications and Experience: * Bachelor's Degree required * 2+ years' event planning experience * Experience in handling multiple projects from start to finish within stringent deadlines * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Hospitality-minded with excellent customer service skills * Ability to prioritize event requests and customer needs using good judgment and logical thinking * Coordinate with vendors, exhibitors and stakeholders during event planning * Liaise with internal clients to identify their needs and ensure customer satisfaction * Coordinate marketing, PR, and social media to promote and publicize event * Proactive problem solver * Ability to track and manage multiple project deliverables and timelines simultaneously * Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations * Works well in a team environment * Detail oriented * Possess strong organizational skills * Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational needs * Strong written and oral communication skills * Excellent critical thinking, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills * Some travel may be required About Staples: Staples Inc. is a market-leading provider of products and services for the workplace enabling better work solutions that deliver industry-leading products, services and expertise across office supplies, facilities, breakroom, furniture, technology, promotional products, and print and marketing services.
