As a remote-first company, this position can sit in Plano, TX or remote in the US.

Position Overview:

Alkami is looking for a talented professional with a passion for project management, planning, learning, and attention to detail. This position will report into a Manager of Professional Services under Alkami's Customer Experience Group (CXG), and will be responsible for assisting the entire project team with completing projects within its planned scope, schedule, and budget.

In addition, you will help establish project schedules, coordinate Jira and Workfront tickets, provide reporting, collect client settings for configurations, validate configuration settings, manage the progress on gap items, and help deliver product implementations for our clients.

Successful candidates must have a strong sense of urgency, desire to learn and progress into project management, ownership to drive projects to completion, and desire to learn and partner in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules and define deliverables based on project scope.

  • Track and manage project milestones, customer-reported issues, and work with stakeholders to ensure resolution.

  • Maintain thorough project documentation, including meeting minutes, agendas, and other necessary documents.

  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders regularly.

  • Ensure alignment of project objectives with business goals and customer expectations.

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration to enhance project outcomes.

  • Utilize project management tools and software for efficient project tracking and reporting.

  • Create and manage configuration documentation for client projects.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries regarding managed projects.

  • Collaborate with Product Development and Engineering teams to resolve customer-reported issues.

  • Monitor product development, track sprints, gather requirements, and provide updates to clients, third parties, internal teams, and management.

  • Provide regular feedback to the PSO management team on process improvements and best practices.

  • Track and report individual time for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with budgeted labor.

  • Host recurring customer conference calls to drive project execution and travel onsite to customer facilities as needed.

  • Be a subject matter expert, responsible for maintaining project documentation in our Confluence space

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem solving abilities. This position requires extensive interaction on video calls, Slack, and email with our external customers, third-party vendors, and other Alkami employees

  • Demonstrated experience interacting with customer stakeholders at all management levels

  • 3+ years of relevant project management experience preferably in the financial services or software industry

  • 1+ year of experience managing Push Provisioning projects

  • Experience using Google or Microsoft Office productivity software including Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, or equivalent tools

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Ability to perform successfully in a high-pressure, fast-paced working environment

  • Ability to work independently with little direction

  • Careful attention to detail in all aspects of the job

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with project management software tools such as Adobe Workfront or Microsoft Project

  • Experience implementing SaaS solutions

  • Familiarity with ticket management software such as JIRA

  • A general knowledge of SDLC, mobile, and web application development concepts

  • A general knowledge of Internet routing and related protocols

  • A general knowledge of Firewall operations as they relate to Internet connectivity

  • Previous work experience with the banking and financial industry as it relates to internet home banking applications

  • Project Management certifications (CSM, PMP, etc) are preferred but not required
