The Project Manager I - HQFMSP plans and coordinates the full life-cycle of projects for the Acquisition Management Division (IM-13), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Department of Energy (DOE). This position ensures all Headquarters Facility Master Security Plan (HQFMSP) requirements established by Federal law, DOE regulations, and Executive Orders related to contractor staff are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists the Acquisition Management Division (IM-13) with contractor related security duties.
Supports security related procedures, provides research, drafts content and develops schedules to disseminate and implement security-related procedures and processes to ensure full OCIO Program compliance with HQFMSP.
Assists the task monitor with project scope, deliverables, schedule, quality and resources.
Communicates objectives, timelines, schedules, job assignments, responsibilities and reporting relationships with Task Monitors.
Works with Task Monitor to set, manage and communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
Establishes and implements policies and standard operating procedures, and ensures conformance with office goals.
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.
Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability.
Bachelor's degree in a related field of study and a minimum of two (2) years relevant project management experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
