Project Manager - Hybrid

PROJECT MANAGER - Georgia, Florida Panhandle, South Alabama (remote*)

Project Responsibilities

• Creates submittals and subcontracts before the commencement of projects

• Creates and updates the schedule of jobs to reflect the current status

• Monitors job site and attends job site meetings

• Meet with inspectors, owners, superintendents and other subcontractors

• Solves and/or refers field problems as they arise

• Complies with and enforces all personnel and safety policies

• Coaches and counsels Crew members, QCs, and Superintendents

• Monitors jobs to ensure quality and proper compliance with company standards and job specifications

• Price/Invoice extra work authorizations from customers

• Verify that crews follow safety procedures and plans

• All other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE

A minimum of five (5) years of roofing and/or construction experience

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to meet and communicate effectively with Clients on job site visits and other meeting

• Ability to effectively use computers, software systems, mobile devices

• Understand and manage scheduling, record keeping, and have the ability to deal effectively with people

• Read and understand blueprints and construction. Must be familiar with CSI format specification system

• Must be familiar with safety and quality control plans

• Experience with US Corps of Engineers or NAVFAC a plus

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Batchelor's degree is preferred but not required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Good command of speech and hearing required

• Able to climb ladders and walk on sloped and non-sloped roofs (as needed)
