Description
Job Purpose/ Summary:
The Project Manager role deals primarily with managing the success of installations and upgrades for wired and wireless High-Speed Internet Access. Responsible for the overall direction, execution, control, and quality completion of specific projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
Be the customer point of contact for overall project communications and technical inquiries. This includes scope of work review, risk assessment and management, project planning, progress tracking and reporting, management, internal and external customer communications, quality control, and compliance assurance.
Complete planning using independent discretion to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner and in the financial best interests of the customer and the company.
Directly manage subcontract resources in the technical execution of a scope of work specific to a customer location, with consultation from assigned internal engineering resources as needed.
Maintain forecast data integrity and work with leadership to identify resource conflicts.
Manage a steady pipeline of ongoing customer projects, balancing concurrent projects at varying stages in the project lifecycle.
Ensure projects meet or exceed financial targets.
Drive high quality project outcomes that are timely, complete, and ensure extreme client satisfaction.

Experience:
Licenses, Certifications, and Screenings:
Upon hire, must pass background screen to include employment history, college education, and license/certification verifications, and criminal check.
Networking certifications strongly preferred.
Project Management certifications strongly preferred.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Visio, etc.).
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/I, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
Personal Attributes:
Strong oral, written, negotiation, influencing, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with internal Single Digits' staff, all stakeholders, and suppliers.
Flexibility to work in a dynamic, sometimes stressful and demanding, team environment.
Excellent organization and task management abilities.
Ability to manage time effectively and achieve set targets.
Ability to thrive under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations.
Analytical and numerically astute with strong problem-solving skills.
Work Environment:
Office environment.
Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing, but occasionally requires climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
Frequent use of computer/keyboard/mouse required.
Must be able to lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.
Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
