Role Purpose

Utilizes project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations. Responsibilities may include leading an operations team responsible for the ongoing maintenance of business and clinical applications.

Responsibilities

Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.May participate in the development of departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets and having direct responsibility for adhering to those goals. This includes responding to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.Leads teams of operational professionals responsible for overseeing application system availability, performance, and enhancements.Participates in managing client and supplier relationships as well as negotiations with suppliers to maximize value for BJC.Assembles project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.Contributes to the development and management of capital and operating budgets.

SUMMARY This position acts as a subject matter expert within assigned projects in support of Revenue Cycle operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. * Acts as a subject matter expert to with assigned revenue cycle projects. * Provides training and escalation support to staff and vendor partners on assigned projects within revenue cycle operations. * Assesses procedures and processes being used at BioScrip with recommendations for changes/improvements. * Responsible for communicating with their manager any information that may have an impact to the Company, RCM, or assigned project. * Up to 30% travel required, including extensive periods of time outside the U.S. * Attends required in-services each year. * Each employee is responsible for adhering to those performance programs, policies, procedures, guidelines and internal control standards established to guide the operation of the Company.
