Inmar is seeking a dynamic, driven Project Manager to lead execution of select strategic initiatives of the Healthcare division from initiation through delivery. The ideal candidate is an experienced project management professional with a good understanding of the healthcare industry.
The Project Manager is responsible for formulating project scope and delivery strategies, establishing milestones and schedules, maintaining and reporting project status and monitoring the progress of all team members while maintaining the Healthcare Chief of Staff and leaders informed of progress and key issues that may impact project completion, budget or other results.
Under the supervision of the Healthcare Chief of Staff, the Project Manager will help in planning and organizing programs and activities such as Town Halls, Strategy Sessions and Management meetings. To succeed in this role, the incumbent must thrive in a fast-paced environment, be team-oriented, and able to execute in a way that encourages creativity, collaboration and continuous improvement.
This position is hybrid for candidates who live within 35 miles of Inmar's corporate headquarters in Winston-Salem, NC - 2- 3 days a week in the office.
Primary Accountabilities:
Project Management (50%)
Direct accountability and responsibility for projects' success from start to finish
Apply knowledge of project management principles, tools, and processes to lead assigned project(s)
Complete the project schedule and work breakdown structure to estimate effort and duration of project tasks; confirm assignment of resources and validate completion date targets for project tasks
Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes are documented, vetted, and approved via a clearly defined change management process
Track and report project status and key metrics to Chief of Staff and Healthcare leaders regularly
Ensure problems, issues, and risks that may affect project goals are identified, documented, and resolved
Execute debriefs and post-project evaluation to determine what did and didn't work, and to learn how to improve the outcomes of future projects
Strategic (25%)
Partner with the division leaders and center support teams to fully understand business requirements to build the business case (if applicable), including valuation of the project, in order to secure appropriate project level prioritization, staffing, and funding as necessary
Work cross-functionally with the enterprise in mind for all projects as assigned
Manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism, serving as a trusted gatekeeper
Administrative (25%)
Support the delivery and execution of the top initiatives for the healthcare division
Support Chief of Staff with the planning and execution of meetings, events and workshops
Conduct ad-hoc projects assigned by the Chief of Staff and Healthcare Leadership team, including data analysis and preparation of presentations and reports
Assist in the management of the leadership team communications: draft communications, organize and prepare briefing materials
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field
4-6 years of related work experience in project management, utilizing either Agile or Waterfall methodologies; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this position
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, a plus
Lean Six-sigma Black Belt certification, recommended
Healthcare industry experience, a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with confidence, clarity, and focus; able to convey concepts and considerations to non-technical and technical experts alike
Leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across organizations, bridge gaps between teams, and successfully influence without authority
Advanced knowledge/use of Microsoft and Google Suites
