Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions

Agile Scrum Project Managers with Healthcare Domain/Projects experience
Manages project plans, including defining deliverables, key milestones and critical path.
Facilitates planning with diverse stakeholders.
Identifies needed resources for projects, defines and assigns major project roles.
Identifies project barriers/constraints/risks and provides recommendations to mitigate.
Balances schedules, scope and budget, renegotiates with sponsor, as necessary
Formulates project methodologies and communication plans.
Facilitates improvement efforts, and develops implementation recommendations.
Develops models to project impact of projects on resources.
Facilitates collaboration with diverse groups and individuals to influence strategic planning and execution.
Develops, maintains and effectively manages client relationships at all levels across the organization.
Communicates and presents project status to a variety of audiences.
Acts as primary project contact for operational managers.
Aligns projects with strategic objectives and identifies opportunities to increase efficiencies, cost-effectiveness, quality and service.
Documents project process and outcomes.

Summary: Provides project management for technology projects of assigned area, ensuring that approved projects are implemented on schedule with a high degree of quality, within budget, according to specifications, and to the customer's satisfaction. Depending on area assigned, incumbent may perform some or all of the following accountabilities. Tasks: * Following I/S project management methodology, standards for tools, rules and deliverables, assembles and leads the project team on approved projects. Consults with management and develops project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources. * Coordinates recruitment or assignment of project personnel, assigns duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority, and ensures project progresses on schedule. * Facilitates the project office steering committee meetings as required. * Addresses and escalates project change requests to the project office steering committee for approval and prioritization. * Actively monitors the status of all project activities, including budget and other I/S department activities and participants involved in the project. * Provides weekly project status reports. * Chairs project team meetings. * Proactively manages project risks and issues. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with others at all levels. * Excellent organizational skills; exceptional attention to detail. * Ability to work effectively on multiple tasks and projects with little or no supervision. * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others to achieve results. * Excellent leadership skills, which includes the ability to set a vision and identify the action steps to achieve that vision and the ability to motivate the team and stakeholders to take action without direct authority. * Knowledgeable of the project life cycle and key components of project work. #MON-CORP Education: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. Experience: 1-3 years project management experience, preferably in an information systems setting. Experience with applications and tools that support project management tracking and reporting.
