GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES Single point of accountability for the delivery of division projects to meet objectives; manages the day-to-day activities of assigned division projects; ensures the quality of the team's work; manages division projects of varying complexity; maintain HCA Enterprise Project Mgmt. alignment, expertise and competencies; support and use HCA Project Mgmt. methodologies and tools.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Project Structuring: Managing and communicating a clear vision of the division projects objectives, and motivating the team members Understanding and communicating the definition of completion criteria (what constitutes 'done') Organizing the activities into manageable work packages for division and facility team members and determining an effective approach to completing the work Resource coordination for corporate IT&S deployments

Project Planning: Ensuring that appropriate timing, resources, and sequencing of the work efforts are aligned to produce the desired result within a given period of time Support Division CIO in scheduling and prioritizing workload given resource constraints. Managing relationships to accomplish the activities Manage Division and Enterprise deployment project schedules to minimize intra-project resource conflict and facility activity conflict Communication of enterprise project schedule updates back to corporate IT&S Project Manager

Project Management, Controlling & Reporting Status: Maintaining assertiveness to achieve goals as quickly as possible Monitoring project activities and reporting on status utilizing HCA standard reporting processes and tools Identifying potential scope changes Reviewing quality of work and managing integration of team members' work Identifying and managing risks and issues Coaching those working on activities to clarify assignments and deliverables

Project Close: Documenting and analyzing lessons learned and sharing with others Validating the completion of project documentation and relevant knowledge bases

  • Practice and adhere to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement" Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Organization - proactively prioritizes needs and effectively manages resources Communication - communicates clearly and concisely Customer orientation - establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations PC skills - demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required EDUCATION Bachelor's degree required

  • Three to seven years experience

  • Seven or more years in an IT environment (with project and personnel management experience)

Planview experience highly desired

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS - Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.

Requires lifting papers or boxes up to 50 pounds occasionally. Work is performed in an office environment. Work may be stressful at times.

Contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people. Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations.

Ensure that all tasks are completed safely and compliant with regulatory requirements and to the customer's standards. All Action Environmental Project Managers are expected to generate work as part of their day to day activities and function as a seller doer. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Responsible for all Action Environmental activities on customer's site to include pre-project selling activities (job walks, job estimation and quoting) 2. Manage and coordinate the efforts of all Action Environmental onsite employees 3. Interaction with Customer, participation in meetings, reporting, change order approvals to include customer relationship maintenance activity between projects 4. Ensure daily safety meetings are conducted and documented 5. Maintain equipment requirements as necessary 6. Completion of daily paperwork and reports 7. Completion of Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) 8. Waste profiling as needed 9. Subcontractor sourcing, costing, selection and scheduling as needed. 10. Scheduling of transportation and disposal for outgoing wastes as needed 11. Maintain adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) for employees 12. Provide status reports to Branch Management as required 13. Develop and build relationships with new or prospective customers. 14. Performs other assignments as assigned by management EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: * Strong commitment to safety * 5 – 10 years field and supervisory experience * Valid driver's license * Regulatory training as required * Leadership and management skills * Strong customer service skills * Good organizational skills, decisiveness and initiative * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite * Ability to work with little or no supervision * Ability to work overtime, weekend, nights, and holidays as required * Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Frequently requires sitting, standing, walking, puling and/or pushing, stooping, crouching, and climbing Ability to lift > 25 pounds, Ability to perform overhead work Pass medical exam including respirator clearance Ability to speak and listen Ability to travel Action Resources Nashville TN
