Project Manager- Job Duties:
You will oversee repair and renovation construction projects.
- Manage multiple construction projects, ensuring that each project is on time and on budget including preparing and submitting budget updates and progress reports.
- Oversee construction and give direction to the onsite Foreman or Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget including managing daily logs of the jobsites.
- Communicate project status, work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
- Oversee Safety considerations on the jobsite.
- Facilitate communication and job progress between field and office team members.
- Coordinate inspections of projects with job Foreman.
- Investigate damages, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.
- Keep frequent communication between customers, Operations Manager, and Estimator on progress, potential changes, cost and budget, and overall project status.
- Obtain all necessary permits and licenses, order construction materials
- Requisition supplies and materials as needed to complete construction projects.
- Take actions to manage changes that are a result of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
- You’ll be directly managing a qualified crew.
Project Manager – Requirements
- Prior experience in a construction role as a Superintendent or Project Manager, ideally with major construction (emphasis on exterior projects)
- Knowledge of construction codes (preferred knowledge of waterproofing systems, structural and exterior construction)
- Prior experience working in the field in a hands-on role including overseeing a field team
- Proficient with computer software programs including, MS Project, MS Excel, and Office Suite
- Bilingual Spanish – speaking (helpful, not required)
The position includes company vehicle, comprehensive medical benefits, paid time off and paid sick time, paid holidays, 401k and time off.
Compensation $95,000 to $130,000 base salary plus quarterly incentives based on job performance.
