The Group Benefits Project Management Office is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead invest projects and work closely with the enterprise. Responsibilities will include:

  • Large and significant projects, typically structured as programs, where scope is subject to change and there is a high degree of risk. Project objectives address complex business opportunities. The program will typically span multiple areas.

  • Ensures a comprehensive and cohesive approach to business readiness by creating a Business Implementation plan, which is integrated with the IT project plan

  • Ensures program deliverables align to strategy; provides thought leadership and critical thinking to drive execution and business decision making

  • Facilitates Organizational Impact Assessments (OIA)

  • Conducts portfolio management analysis to assess cross-project and program impacts and create strategies to manage risks and coordinate implementation and/or testing plans in an efficient manner

  • Creates and manages Cost Benefit Analyses (CBA) in collaboration with IT

  • Establishes best practices including governance, decision making and reporting

  • Indirectly Manages Implementation Readiness Leads in a matrix setting

  • Serve as Change Manager on projects: develop and monitor execution of holistic plans for training, communications, process impacts and change management

  • Plan and drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Certification in ADKAR

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience or equivalent leadership experience

  • Experience managing other PMs or project component leaders

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Project software

  • 1-2 years of industry experience

  • PMP certification preferred

  • Six Sigma certifications preferred
