RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:

Implements organization's goals, may provide input into strategic goals for project management standards and best practices . Conducts research, evaluates data, and reports on findings, supporting the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and programs. Has familiarity with the project management budget, may provide input into spending decisions, particularly as pertains to vendors, systems, and projects. Typically works on projects and initiatives that span 12 months 2 years.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1.Leading and Developing Talent: May partner with coworkers to advance their development.
2.Project and Change Management: May serve as a team member, or subject matter expert, for formal or department projects. Contributes ideas and helps develop solutions, while balancing demands of project work and routine job responsibilities. Engages effectively in change affecting her/him, communicating appropriately with supervisor. Follows through on learning, skill building, and practice necessary to adapt to change.
3.Problem Solving: Light supervision; works independently. Periodic review of work by manager or direct customer. Researches, analyzes, and evaluates situations and reports on findings. Solves advanced problems.
4.Technical Skill: Advanced knowledge of professional principles and skills. Comprehensive knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization.
5.Community Engagement: Champions Goodwill's community engagement initiatives. Aware of Goodwill's community partner organizational and participates in volunteer opportunities as pertains to role and interest. Participates in industry/knowledge groups.
6.Facilitate open communication among project teams and other key stakeholders; identify and articulate issues and negotiate resolution with a sense of urgency.
7.Build productive project teams that foster engagement in each project. Provide positive leadership and effective coaching methods which include building rapport with team members, creating an environment of trust, providing and asking for feedback in a timely manner and listening and encouraging team members to learn and grow.
8.Provide specialist knowledge, training and support to the business to improve business case development, project delivery and resolve business issues.
9.Adhere to project quality control policies and practices to drive high performance in project deliverables.
10. Responsible for completing other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements REQUIREMENTS:
1.Two years of college education or experience equivalency, and a minimum of 5 years' experience.
2.Demonstrated experience in project management processes and methodologies, including knowledge of PMI standards. Individual must maintain current knowledge of industry standards and best practices
3.Experience with project and resource budgeting and estimating.
4.Strong computer skills including MS Office and ability to learn new systems quickly.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS:

Remain stationary for extended periods of time, repetitive use of hands, vision required for work with written and electronic documents, travel to various worksites.

Additionally, AIT and Assistant Managers perform a variety of sales, merchandising and operational tasks assigned by store management (e.g. cashiering, merchandise display and pulls, register procedures, and routine cleaning of facilities). Work directly with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales, recruit new Teammates and provide leadership. The AIT and Assistant Manager will also share responsibility for training and motivating Teammates and act as the Store Manager in their absence. The Assistant Manager Position is a progression from the AIT position and therefore includes additional high level duties that are specific to that position, though the majority of job duties and responsibilities are shared. Sales Generation and Guest Service Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, and is consistently prepared to provide legendary service to each Guest. Teammate Recruiting, Training and Development Develop skills and assist in leading, directing, motivating and educating new Teammates to meet and achieve Buckle's accountability, shift orientation, Loss Prevention and sales presentation standards on a daily basis. Visual Merchandise Management Own and influence product through zone ownership, exhibiting the ability to recognize and merchandise products and projects to Teammates daily with a specific learning goal in mind. Operations Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, all based upon store and business needs. Establish relationships and excellent communication with Corporate Office Departments to assist Store Manager in effective operations of the store. Supervisory and Leadership Ability to travel and cover other Stores within District based on business needs. Coachable; consistently welcomes feedback from Manager to improve sales presentations.
