Qualifications and Skills

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical engineering or related disciplines
  • Expertise in plastic part development, tool development, FEA analysis
  • 10+ year experience in design and development (plastic parts, tools, FEA analysis) and supporting all phases of new product introduction.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management
  • PMP certification
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Experience in development of “Liquid handling products” or “Laboratory Equipment” will be an added advantage

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare project execution plan – schedule and strategy
  • Project tracking and controlling
  • Resource planning and organize project team.
  • Ensure adherence to organizations quality process
  • Prepare and maintain project risk register
  • Prepare, track and control project budget
  • Track and control project scope
  • Co-ordinate with various stakeholders involved in product development (R&D, manufacturing, logistics, service, marketing etc.)
  • Co-ordinate with third party vendors
  • Driving brainstorming sessions for decision making, time optimization, cost optimization
  • Resolving project issues and conflicts
  • Managing onsite and offshore development team.
  • Implement and manage the project governance structure to ensure effective reporting and communication

Please see our website at www.silveradocontractors.<br></p><p><strong>What we are looking for</strong> </p><p>The Project Manager will have total responsibility for the Management of one or more projects from Pre-Construction and project set-up to Construction Oversight and close-out. Responsibilities include communicating job expectations to clients, project team and subcontractors. Planning and monitoring project progress with overall responsibility for job completion, job profitability, and Owner satisfaction. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong> </p><p>The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job: Project Management duties of this position include project management of assigned contracts. The Project Manager is responsible to run the day-to-day operations of the project, coordination, and evaluation to stay on schedule. The role includes responsibility for safety, quality control, addressing vendor concerns, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. </p><ul> <li>Responsible for permit acquisition and pre-demolition survey. </li> <li>Writing safety and work plans, writing and administering subcontracts. </li> <li>Tracking job costs and schedule, preparing and tracking submittals. </li> <li>Preparing change orders. </li> <li>Enforcing safety on the project, review and monitor safety programs, hazard assessments and safe operating procedures in the field. </li> <li>Supervision duties of this position include direct supervision of contracts including layout, coordination of field labor forces, equipment, subcontractors. </li> <li>Interaction and effective communication with Silverado’s clients, superintendents, management and administrative staff is essential. </li> </ul><ul> <li>Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation. </li> <li>Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with customers/ coworkers. </li> <li>Travel locally for extended periods of time (weekly 30-50%). </li> </ul><p><br> </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>Bachelor's degree (B.
