Position Objective: Provide services as a Project Manager in support of the overall functions of the Office of Science Management and Operations (OSMO), Office of Workplace Solutions (OWS) within the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the procurement and installation of all furniture, fixtures and equipment (FFE) including development of the procurement scope through communication with the end users.

  • Assist with the selection of vendors to provide proposals, compare proposals provided to for review by end users/management.

  • Prepare and track of all documentation for the procurement under the direction of the Federal Task Leader.

  • Work closely with project team to identify delivery dates for all items in the project schedule.

  • Oversee the delivery, unpacking, installation, and activation of all furniture, fixtures and equipment.

  • Work with the Sr. Project Manager to closely track budget and schedule. This work is expected to support laboratory facility projects for NIAID on the NIH Bethesda Campus.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience is required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with non-technical and technical staff.

  • Detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
