The Career Development 'Runway' Project Manager will co-lead the Full Sail University 'Runway' initiative.

The 'Runway' Project Manager will serve as the primary liaison between graduates and multiple internal departments participating in 'Runway'. Additionally, 'Runway' Project Managers are responsible for co-leading the initiative and providing comprehensive data analysis to track progress and outcomes, including comparative data from previous iterations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Behave as a Full Sail University ambassador and embrace our unique educational model, while maintaining the highest level of integrity, professionalism, customer service, and compliance.

  • Co-lead Full Sail University's 'Runway' initiative, serving as the main point of contact for graduates seeking independent contract work.

  • Direct inter-departmental operations of 'Runway' initiative, establishing and driving annual objectives while identifying priority opportunities for graduates.

  • Oversee inter-departmental relationships related to 'Runway' Initiative, striving for continuous improvement and expansion of opportunities.

  • Identify and evaluate new business, event, or experience opportunities tailored to 'Runway' Initiative.

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development opportunities for the graduates participating in 'Runway' Initiative.

  • Oversee the development and management of platforms specific to initiative needs.

  • Forecast and manage budgetary, workforce, design, and technology requirements for new initiatives within 'Runway' Initiative. Analyze and present outcomes.

  • Evaluate key performance indicators for both new and existing initiatives within 'Runway' to ensure alignment with program goals.

  • Supervise content strategy for communication with graduates participating in 'Runway' Initiative, ensuring engagement and relevance.

  • Develop compelling content and curriculum to support the professional development of graduates within 'Runway' Initiative, collaborating with stakeholders to maintain high-quality resources.

  • Strategically plan and execute brand advocacy, engagement, recruitment, and retention activities for graduates participating in 'Runway' Initiative.

  • Implement operational excellence methods to streamline processes and tasks specific to 'Runway' Initiative.

  • Lead meetings effectively, document communications, and contribute to research efforts focused on enhancing the 'Runway' Initiative.

  • Provide support for Full Sail University Career Development department events and activities as needed, maintaining flexibility in scheduling.

  • Stay abreast of developments within the Full Sail University graduate cohorts, graduate initial employment & industry trends, and relevant educational offerings.

  • Complete administrative tasks related to 'Runway' initiative promptly and accurately.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Stay updated on pertinent information related to Full Sail University, the entertainment media & emerging technologies industries, post-secondary education, and ACCSC standards specifically pertaining to Full Sail University 'Runway' initiative.

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all educational offerings provided by Full Sail University, with a focus on how they relate to 'Runway' initiative.

  • Provide detailed explanations of Full Sail University's educational programs, expected outcomes, and services provided to students/graduates, members of the education community, local businesses, and internal/external clients, emphasizing the opportunities available through the 'Runway' initiative.

  • Document all communication and contact information related to the Runway initiative within Full Sail University's customer relationship management system (CRM).

  • Contribute to educational and industry research efforts specifically aimed at enhancing the 'Runway' initiative's impact on graduates.

  • Support additional initiatives on behalf of Full Sail University as required, with a focus on promoting and expanding 'Runway' initiative.

  • Implement best practices across all aspects of 'Runway' initiative to ensure a cohesive and effective brand experience for graduates and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, including availability for late nights, weekends, extended hours, and overnight travel, particularly during peak seasons of 'Runway' initiative.

  • Complete expense reports promptly and accurately in relation to expenses incurred during the execution of 'Runway' initiative activities.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains all levels of staff in their department.

  • Oversees the schedules and responsibilities of staff in their department.

  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project management, talent development, or a related field.

  • Understanding of entertainment media & emerging technology industries, and the needs of recent graduates.

  • Must become familiar with Full Sail University's 'Runway' initiative and objectives.

  • Must successfully participate in and complete all continuing education/training requirements.

  • Start-up project management experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Must successfully participate in and complete all continuing education/training requirements.

  • Background check mandatory.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, iWork, various web tools, Salesforce CRM software, and various other software as needed.

  • Proficient with various Apple and Windows based hardware.

  • Presentation skills and technical knowledge for in-person, virtual, and digital communications.

Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:

Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
