What's the opportunity?

The Project Manager is responsible for identifying, developing and implementing end-to-end supply chain solutions for a TMC customer. A successful candidate will have experience in various areas of the supply chain, change management, network/data analysis, and continuous improvement. This role will require excellent organization, documentation, critical thinking and communication skills, as well as the ability to design innovative solutions when faced with complex supply chain issues.

This person's primary responsibility will be to identify and propose cost savings improvements to the customer and, once approved, facilitate the implementation and monitor if the expected results were met.

What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for analyzing historic and forecasted data to identify cost & service improvement opportunities

  • Designs and develops supply chain solutions aligned to a strategic roadmap

  • Communicates complex solutions to a variety of stakeholders effectively and concisely

  • Leads and manages multiple projects to deliver cost and service improvements using a PDCA based methodology

  • Maintains all project related documentation, including project plans, process flows/VSM's, resource requirements and business cases

  • Communicates project progress and facilitates project-related meetings to meet deliverables; escalate quickly as necessary

  • Lead change management with all stakeholders. Lead without authority and be confident and assertive with a willingness to challenge appropriately

  • Facilitates implementation of solutions

  • Delivers projects successfully, and on time with quality solutions

  • Build rapport with project teams and customer stakeholders (this role is on-site at customer)

  • Develops metrics and dashboards to track results of implemented solutions

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering or related discipline

  • Equivalent work experience may be considered

  • 2+ years of experience in an analytics based problem solving role

  • Project management experience is preferred

  • Supply Chain, Logistics, and/or Transportation experience preferred

  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills are required to be successful in this role

  • Ability to understand the "story in the data", tell the story and connect to your audience

  • Project management experience with the proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent experience with Microsoft Excel is essential and experience with Tableau or Power BI is highly preferred

QUALIFICATIONS * 5+ years of experience in the software/system development industry with 3+ years as a project manager of consumer facing digital products and software using Waterfall and Agile practices and methodologies. * A solid understanding of the practical application of product development methods and managing software development teams in a dynamic, iterative environment would be great. If you have a Prince2 or PMI background and are open to new ways of thinking, we'd love to talk to you too. * Experience in Jira, Confluence, Excel and other Project Management related software tools. * Be a strong team player who collaborates to build, and adhere to, a delivery schedule * Superior project management skills including: communications management, risk mitigation and issue management * Think strategically and create solutions to complex problems * Create, maintain, and own project artifacts and facilitate project ceremonies * Excellent written and verbal communications skills. * Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with all members of the Product Development Life Cycle as well as Sr. Management. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * PMP and/or Agile, Scrum Practitioner certification a plus. * Bachelor's degree preferred.
