Job Description:

  • Support AD, GP Finance in the following Budget/ MYPP activities:
  • Develop a project plan, a calendar, RACI, dashboard, escalation process for 2020 Budget and MYPP processes and execute against it
  • Implement standard Excel and PowerPoint templates for data collection, consolidation and reporting out
  • Establish a cadence of budget/MYPP events and coordinate/lead communication plan with budget participants and key stakeholders
  • Identify/ implement improvement opportunities and document the To-Be process (process charts)
  • Develop the inventory of key contracts to use to sensitivity analysis in ExM and Direct Materials space
  • Leading the regular Budget/MYPP meetings & issuing the minutes/communications to the different stakeholders.
  • Organization and storage of the documents on SharePoint site.
  • Perform an analysis of B2B and CR opportunities and expected outcomes
  • Prepare the MYYP and Budget presentation(s) for GP and GPS reviews


  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Procurement or Supply Chain
  • Project Management certification or similar


  • Required: 4-6 year experience as a project manager
  • Experience collaborating with a large number of stakeholders within matrix organization
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills
  • Finance/Analytical experience is preferred

SRI maintains a state-of-the-art products portfolio that includes real-time video processors, integrated video and sensor exploitation solutions, and instrumented training systems for government and commercial sectors. The group has an exciting new opportunity for a Project Manager. The PM will direct all phases of programs from inception through completion. This includes successfully managing all aspects of cost, schedule, and performance for assigned programs, achieving and maintaining contract execution, product delivery, and customer satisfaction, as well as support follow-on business development for assigned programs/customers. Responsibilities include: * Providing the centralized planning, direction, and control required to meet the cost, schedule, and performance goals throughout the life-cycle of their assigned programs. * Monitoring, updating, and reporting on Program(s)/B&P/IR&D performance/status in accordance with the Capture Management and Planning (CMAP), Program Management and Planning/Tracking (PMAP/PMAT), and CMMi processes. * Working with Proposal Managers or key proposal team members for follow-on business and/or new business opportunities related to their respective program areas. * Being the primary representative with the customer on their assigned program(s) * Maintaining close contact with the customer organization to ensure the highest possible level of customer satisfaction. * Ensuring a continuous line of communication is kept open with the appropriate customer representatives to maintain a high level of program status awareness, provide timely recognition and resolution of problems, identify follow-on business opportunities, and prevent surprises. * Participating in contract strategy, development, review and negotiations for their programs in concert with Contracts. Responsible for follow-on business development of existing customers and for assisting the VP/Director with new business opportunities in their respective program areas. * Supporting the development and execution of the business area capture plan within their assigned area of responsibility, as requested. * Identifying the staffing/resource needs for assigned and projected programs to ensure adequate staffing for successful program completion. * Interface with corporate finance in planning, tracking and reporting on programs Qualifications * The successful candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5 to 10 years of experience in project or program management in a related technical industry. * Candidate must be a US citizen or US Person, active Secret clearance desirable * Experience in managing imager-based programs a plus. * A current or pending PMP certification is a plus, but not required Desired skills: * MS Project * Working knowledge of EVMS * Business management * Financial management * Leadership and team building * Effective communication and interaction with all levels of management * Understanding of technical design and manufacturing processes * Team communication * Customer interaction * Strong interpersonal and written communication skills SRI International Princeton NJ
