The Project Manager of Experiential Marketing serves as the day-today client contact for top-tier 360 experiential marketing campaign executions. This individual oversees all aspects of the campaign execution with a category expertise. The Project Manager of Experiential Marketing builds and manages creative/production briefs and timelines and acts as a liaison between all internal team, ensuring a timely and successful campaign execution in events or other initiatives. He or she works in close partnership with the corresponding Marketing Director in the development of client proposal in the pre-sale phase to ensure optimal execution in the post-sell phase.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serves as the day-to-day liaison between clients and sales for experiential marketing integrations

  • Effectively manage day-today client communication during execution phase

  • Ability to plan, organize, and execute events and marketing builds

  • Assist with overseeing Univision relationship with select clients

  • Collaborate with internal and external production partners during execution, delivering outstanding and innovative campaign results for clients on time and on budget

  • Interacts with multiple teams across the company, most importantly keeping constant and open communication with production teams to ensure executions meet deadline

  • Work with the production team to ensure that every activation we deliver meets our high standard of creative execution

  • Decision making responsibilities:

o Determine optimal, most efficient way to bring concepts to life

o Provide direction and internal approvals on creative development prior to external review

o Escalates as needed to Director and/or VP

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required Basic Qualifications:

  • 1 - 2 years of experiential marketing experience

  • Project management experience

  • Has successfully led and managed creative projects from brief to final deliverable

  • Analytical skills such as KPI measurement and campaign optimization

  • Efficient in MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, word and Project)

  • Ability to travel up to 30% to attend client meetings and production efforts

Desired Qualifications:

  • Spanish fluency and/or multi-cultural experience preferred

  • Working knowledge of Photoshop, JIRA a plus

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate with high-level internal and external clients

  • Extremely detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills

  • Creative mind with a strategic and solutions-oriented approach

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high volume, high pressure, fast pasted environment

  • Ability to quickly and continuously adapt to and embrace new trends and technologies

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be willing to work at the Univision office in Miami, FL OR New York, NY

  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation

  • Must be willing to travel on a frequent basis 30%, including weekends

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

The Manager, Experiential Marketing will be charged with supporting RFP/RFI ideation, management and execution of internal & industry events, live podcasts, priority initiatives and sponsorship operations. Additional responsibilities include coordinating client entertainment events and national sales meetings in multiple markets. Operational duties include oversight of multi-department communication flows and schedules and collaboration with internal departments and third party vendors to develop best in class experiences. This candidate will excel in the creation and execution of advertiser programs through both pre- and post-sale work streams. This role will work with multiple internal teams, including Sales, Editorial, Design, Communications and Creative Strategy to bring the Vox Media networks to life. This is also a key role in the support of Vox Media tent pole initiatives such as The Deep End by Vox Media at SXSW, and custom advertiser events at all levels.
